Génesis 11

1Era, então, toda a terra de uma língua e umas mesmas palavras.

וַֽיְהִ֥י כָל־הָאָ֖רֶץ שָׂפָ֣ה אֶחָ֑ת וּדְבָרִ֖ים אֲחָדִֽים׃

vayhi chal-haarets safah echat udvarim achadim

2E aconteceu que, quando se partiram do oriente, acharam um vale na terra de Sinear; e ali passaram a habitar.

וַֽיְהִ֖י בְּנָסְעָ֣ם מִקֶּ֑דֶם וַֽיִּמְצְא֥וּ בִקְעָ֛ה בְּאֶ֥רֶץ שִׁנְעָ֖ר וַיֵּ֥שְׁבוּ שָֽׁם׃

vayhi benasam mikedem vayimtsu vikah beerets shinar vayeshvu sham

3E disseram uns aos outros: Vinde, façamos tijolos e o cozamos com fogo. E foi-lhes os tijolos em lugar de pedra, e o betume em lugar de argamassa.

וַיֹּאמְר֞וּ אִ֣ישׁ אֶל־רֵעֵ֗הוּ הָ֚בָה נִלְבְּנָ֣ה לְבֵנִ֔ים וְנִשְׂרְפָ֖ה לִשְׂרֵפָ֑ה וַתְּהִ֨י לָהֶ֤ם הַלְּבֵנָה֙ לְאָ֔בֶן וְהַ֣חֵמָ֔ר הָיָ֥ה לָהֶ֖ם לַחֹֽמֶר׃

vayomru ish el-reehu havah nilbnah levenim venisrfah lisrefah vathi lahem halvenah leaven vehachemar hayah lahem lachomer

4E disseram: Vamos, edifiquemo-nos uma cidade e uma torre, cuja ponta chegue ao céu; e façamo-nos um nome, para que não sejamos espalhados sobre a face de toda a terra.

וַיֹּאמְר֞וּ הָ֣בָה ׀ נִבְנֶה־לָּ֣נוּ עִ֗יר וּמִגְדָּל֙ וְרֹאשׁ֣וֹ בַשָּׁמַ֔יִם וְנַֽעֲשֶׂה־לָּ֖נוּ שֵׁ֑ם פֶּן־נָפ֖וּץ עַל־פְּנֵ֥י כָל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃

vayomru havah nivneh-lanu ir umigdal verosho vashamayim venaaseh-lanu shem pen-nafuts al-pene chal-haarets

5E desceu o SENHOR para ver a cidade e a torre que edificavam os filhos dos homens.

וַיֵּ֣רֶד יְהוָ֔ה לִרְאֹ֥ת אֶת־הָעִ֖יר וְאֶת־הַמִּגְדָּ֑ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר בָּנ֖וּ בְּנֵ֥י הָאָדָֽם׃

vayered Yahweh lirot et-hair veet-hamigdal asher banu bene haadam

6E disse o SENHOR: Eis que o povo é um, e todos estes têm uma língua; e começaram a agir, e nada lhes restringirá agora do que pensaram fazer.

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְהוָ֗ה הֵ֣ן עַ֤ם אֶחָד֙ וְשָׂפָ֤ה אַחַת֙ לְכֻלָּ֔ם וְזֶ֖ה הַחִלָּ֣ם לַעֲשׂ֑וֹת וְעַתָּה֙ לֹֽא־יִבָּצֵ֣ר מֵהֶ֔ם כֹּ֛ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר יָזְמ֖וּ לַֽעֲשֽׂוֹת׃

vayomer Yahweh hen am echad vesafah achat lechulam vezeh hachilam laasot veatah lo-yibatser mehem kol asher yazmu laasot

7Agora, pois, desçamos, e confundamos ali suas línguas, para que ninguém entenda a fala de seu companheiro.

הָ֚בָה נֵֽרְדָ֔ה וְנָבְלָ֥ה שָׁ֖ם שְׂפָתָ֑ם אֲשֶׁר֙ לֹ֣א יִשְׁמְע֔וּ אִ֖ישׁ שְׂפַ֥ת רֵעֵֽהוּ׃

havah nerdah venavlah sham sefatam asher lo yishmu ish sefat reehu

8Assim os espalhou o SENHOR desde ali sobre a face de toda a terra, e deixaram de edificar a cidade.

וַיָּ֨פֶץ יְהוָ֥ה אֹתָ֛ם מִשָּׁ֖ם עַל־פְּנֵ֣י כָל־הָאָ֑רֶץ וַֽיַּחְדְּל֖וּ לִבְנֹ֥ת הָעִֽיר׃

vayafets Yahweh otam misham al-pene chal-haarets vayachdlu livnot hair

9Por isto foi chamado o nome dela Babel, porque ali confundiu o SENHOR a língua de toda a terra, e desde ali os espalhou sobre a face de toda a terra.

עַל־כֵּ֞ן קָרָ֤א שְׁמָהּ֙ בָּבֶ֔ל כִּי־שָׁ֛ם בָּלַ֥ל יְהוָ֖ה שְׂפַ֣ת כָּל־הָאָ֑רֶץ וּמִשָּׁם֙ הֱפִיצָ֣ם יְהוָ֔ה עַל־פְּנֵ֖י כָּל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ פ

al-ken kara shemah bavel ki-sham balal Yahweh sefat kal-haarets umisham hefitsam Yahweh al-pene kal-haarets

10Estas são as gerações de Sem: Sem, de idade de cem anos, gerou a Arfaxade, dois anos depois do dilúvio.

אֵ֚לֶּה תּוֹלְדֹ֣ת שֵׁ֔ם שֵׁ֚ם בֶּן־מְאַ֣ת שָׁנָ֔ה וַיּ֖וֹלֶד אֶת־אַרְפַּכְשָׁ֑ד שְׁנָתַ֖יִם אַחַ֥ר הַמַּבּֽוּל׃

eleh toldot shem shem ben-meat shanah vayoled et-arpachshad shenatayim achar hamabul

11E viveu Sem, depois que gerou a Arfaxade quinhentos anos, e gerou filhos e filhas.

וַֽיְחִי־שֵׁ֗ם אַֽחֲרֵי֙ הוֹלִיד֣וֹ אֶת־אַרְפַּכְשָׁ֔ד חֲמֵ֥שׁ מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַיּ֥וֹלֶד בָּנִ֖ים וּבָנֽוֹת׃ ס

vaychi-shem achare holido et-arpachshad chamesh meot shanah vayoled banim uvanot

12E Arfaxade viveu trinta e cinco anos, e gerou a Salá.

וְאַרְפַּכְשַׁ֣ד חַ֔י חָמֵ֥שׁ וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֖ים שָׁנָ֑ה וַיּ֖וֹלֶד אֶת־שָֽׁלַח׃

vearpachshad chay chamesh ushloshim shanah vayoled et-shalach

13E viveu Arfaxade, depois que gerou a Salá, quatrocentos e três anos, e gerou filhos e filhas.

וַֽיְחִ֣י אַרְפַּכְשַׁ֗ד אַֽחֲרֵי֙ הוֹלִיד֣וֹ אֶת־שֶׁ֔לַח שָׁלֹ֣שׁ שָׁנִ֔ים וְאַרְבַּ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַיּ֥וֹלֶד בָּנִ֖ים וּבָנֽוֹת׃ ס

vaychi arpachshad achare holido et-shelach shalosh shanim vearba meot shanah vayoled banim uvanot

14E viveu Salá trinta anos, e gerou a Héber.

וְשֶׁ֥לַח חַ֖י שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים שָׁנָ֑ה וַיּ֖וֹלֶד אֶת־עֵֽבֶר׃

veshelach chay sheloshim shanah vayoled et-ever

15E viveu Salá, depois que gerou a Héber, quatrocentos e três anos, e gerou filhos e filhas.

וַֽיְחִי־שֶׁ֗לַח אַחֲרֵי֙ הוֹלִיד֣וֹ אֶת־עֵ֔בֶר שָׁלֹ֣שׁ שָׁנִ֔ים וְאַרְבַּ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַיּ֥וֹלֶד בָּנִ֖ים וּבָנֽוֹת׃ ס

vaychi-shelach achare holido et-ever shalosh shanim vearba meot shanah vayoled banim uvanot

16E viveu Héber trinta e quatro anos, e gerou a Pelegue.

וַֽיְחִי־עֵ֕בֶר אַרְבַּ֥ע וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֖ים שָׁנָ֑ה וַיּ֖וֹלֶד אֶת־פָּֽלֶג׃

vaychi-ever arba ushloshim shanah vayoled et-paleg

17E viveu Héber, depois que gerou a Pelegue, quatrocentos e trinta anos, e gerou filhos e filhas.

וַֽיְחִי־עֵ֗בֶר אַחֲרֵי֙ הוֹלִיד֣וֹ אֶת־פֶּ֔לֶג שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים שָׁנָ֔ה וְאַרְבַּ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַיּ֥וֹלֶד בָּנִ֖ים וּבָנֽוֹת׃ ס

vaychi-ever achare holido et-peleg sheloshim shanah vearba meot shanah vayoled banim uvanot

18E viveu Pelegue, trinta anos, e gerou a Reú.

וַֽיְחִי־פֶ֖לֶג שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים שָׁנָ֑ה וַיּ֖וֹלֶד אֶת־רְעֽוּ׃

vaychi-feleg sheloshim shanah vayoled et-reu

19E viveu Pelegue, depois que gerou a Reú, duzentos e nove anos, e gerou filhos e filhas.

וַֽיְחִי־פֶ֗לֶג אַחֲרֵי֙ הוֹלִיד֣וֹ אֶת־רְע֔וּ תֵּ֥שַׁע שָׁנִ֖ים וּמָאתַ֣יִם שָׁנָ֑ה וַיּ֥וֹלֶד בָּנִ֖ים וּבָנֽוֹת׃ ס

vaychi-feleg achare holido et-reu tesha shanim umatayim shanah vayoled banim uvanot

20E Reú viveu trinta e dois anos, e gerou a Serugue.

וַיְחִ֣י רְע֔וּ שְׁתַּ֥יִם וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֖ים שָׁנָ֑ה וַיּ֖וֹלֶד אֶת־שְׂרֽוּג׃

vaychi reu shetayim ushloshim shanah vayoled et-serug

21E viveu Reú, depois que gerou a Serugue, duzentos e sete anos, e gerou filhos e filhas.

וַיְחִ֣י רְע֗וּ אַחֲרֵי֙ הוֹלִיד֣וֹ אֶת־שְׂר֔וּג שֶׁ֥בַע שָׁנִ֖ים וּמָאתַ֣יִם שָׁנָ֑ה וַיּ֥וֹלֶד בָּנִ֖ים וּבָנֽוֹת׃ ס

vaychi reu achare holido et-serug sheva shanim umatayim shanah vayoled banim uvanot

22E viveu Serugue trinta anos, e gerou a Naor.

וַיְחִ֥י שְׂר֖וּג שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים שָׁנָ֑ה וַיּ֖וֹלֶד אֶת־נָחֽוֹר׃

vaychi serug sheloshim shanah vayoled et-nachor

23E viveu Serugue, depois que gerou a Naor, duzentos anos, e gerou filhos e filhas.

וַיְחִ֣י שְׂר֗וּג אַחֲרֵ֛י הוֹלִיד֥וֹ אֶת־נָח֖וֹר מָאתַ֣יִם שָׁנָ֑ה וַיּ֥וֹלֶד בָּנִ֖ים וּבָנֽוֹת׃ ס

vaychi serug achare holido et-nachor matayim shanah vayoled banim uvanot

24E viveu Naor vinte e nove anos, e gerou a Terá.

וַיְחִ֣י נָח֔וֹר תֵּ֥שַׁע וְעֶשְׂרִ֖ים שָׁנָ֑ה וַיּ֖וֹלֶד אֶת־תָּֽרַח׃

vaychi nachor tesha veesrim shanah vayoled et-tarach

25E viveu Naor, depois que gerou a Terá, cento e dezenove anos, e gerou filhos e filhas.

וַיְחִ֣י נָח֗וֹר אַחֲרֵי֙ הוֹלִיד֣וֹ אֶת־תֶּ֔רַח תְּשַֽׁע־עֶשְׂרֵ֥ה שָׁנָ֖ה וּמְאַ֣ת שָׁנָ֑ה וַיּ֥וֹלֶד בָּנִ֖ים וּבָנֽוֹת׃ ס

vaychi nachor achare holido et-terach tesha-esreh shanah umat shanah vayoled banim uvanot

26E viveu Terá setenta anos, e gerou a Abrão, e a Naor, e a Harã.

וַֽיְחִי־תֶ֖רַח שִׁבְעִ֣ים שָׁנָ֑ה וַיּ֙וֹלֶד֙ אֶת־אַבְרָ֔ם אֶת־נָח֖וֹר וְאֶת־הָרָֽן׃

vaychi-terach shivim shanah vayoled et-avram et-nachor veet-haran

27Estas são as gerações de Terá: Terá gerou a Abrão, e a Naor, e a Harã; e Harã gerou a Ló.

וְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ תּוֹלְדֹ֣ת תֶּ֔רַח תֶּ֚רַח הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־אַבְרָ֔ם אֶת־נָח֖וֹר וְאֶת־הָרָ֑ן וְהָרָ֖ן הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־לֽוֹט׃

veeleh toldot terach terach holid et-avram et-nachor veet-haran veharan holid et-lot

28E morreu Harã antes que seu pai Terá na terra de seu nascimento, em Ur dos caldeus.

וַיָּ֣מָת הָרָ֔ן עַל־פְּנֵ֖י תֶּ֣רַח אָבִ֑יו בְּאֶ֥רֶץ מוֹלַדְתּ֖וֹ בְּא֥וּר כַּשְׂדִּֽים׃

vayamat haran al-pene terach aviv beerets moladto beur kasdim

29E tomaram Abrão e Naor para si mulheres: o nome da mulher de Abrão foi Sarai, e o nome da mulher de Naor, Milca, filha de Harã, pai de Milca e de Iscá.

וַיִּקַּ֨ח אַבְרָ֧ם וְנָח֛וֹר לָהֶ֖ם נָשִׁ֑ים שֵׁ֤ם אֵֽשֶׁת־אַבְרָם֙ שָׂרָ֔י וְשֵׁ֤ם אֵֽשֶׁת־נָחוֹר֙ מִלְכָּ֔ה בַּת־הָרָ֥ן אֲבִֽי־מִלְכָּ֖ה וַֽאֲבִ֥י יִסְכָּֽה׃

vayikach avram venachor lahem nashim shem eshet-avram saray veshem eshet-nachor milkah bat-haran avi-milkah vaavi yiskah

30Mas Sarai era estéril, e não tinha filho.

וַתְּהִ֥י שָׂרַ֖י עֲקָרָ֑ה אֵ֥ין לָ֖הּ וָלָֽד׃

vathi saray akarah en lah valad

31E tomou Terá a Abrão seu filho, e a Ló filho de Harã, filho de seu filho, e a Sarai sua nora, mulher de Abrão seu filho: e saiu com eles de Ur dos caldeus, para ir à terra de Canaã: e vieram até Harã, e assentaram ali.

וַיִּקַּ֨ח תֶּ֜רַח אֶת־אַבְרָ֣ם בְּנ֗וֹ וְאֶת־ל֤וֹט בֶּן־הָרָן֙ בֶּן־בְּנ֔וֹ וְאֵת֙ שָׂרַ֣י כַּלָּת֔וֹ אֵ֖שֶׁת אַבְרָ֣ם בְּנ֑וֹ וַיֵּצְא֨וּ אִתָּ֜ם מֵא֣וּר כַּשְׂדִּ֗ים לָלֶ֙כֶת֙ אַ֣רְצָה כְּנַ֔עַן וַיָּבֹ֥אוּ עַד־חָרָ֖ן וַיֵּ֥שְׁבוּ שָֽׁם׃

vayikach terach et-avram beno veet-lot ben-haran ben-beno veet saray kalato eshet avram beno vayetsu itam meur kasdim lalechet artsah kenaan vayavou ad-charan vayeshvu sham

32E foram os dias de Terá duzentos e cinco anos; e morreu Terá em Harã.

וַיִּהְי֣וּ יְמֵי־תֶ֔רַח חָמֵ֥שׁ שָׁנִ֖ים וּמָאתַ֣יִם שָׁנָ֑ה וַיָּ֥מָת תֶּ֖רַח בְּחָרָֽן׃ ס
