Song of Songs 1

Bíblia Livre (BLIVRE) + Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC)

Hide the originalView word by word

Below each verse in the original comes an approximate reading, in italics, for anyone who wants to pronounce the text aloud. It is not academic transliteration: it does not mark stress or settle the cases that depend on grammatical analysis, and the four-letter Name is read “Yahweh”, by the founder’s decision — the Hebrew pointing instructs saying “Adonai”, and Portuguese Bibles render it “SENHOR”.

1Cântico dos cânticos, que é de Salomão.

shir hashirim asher lishlomoh

yishakeni minshikot pihu ki-tovim dodecha miyayin

lerecha shemanecha tovim shemen turak shemecha al-ken alamot ahevucha

4Toma-me contigo, e corramos; traga-me o rei aos seus quartos.[Moças] : Em ti nos alegraremos e nos encheremos de alegria; nos agradaremos mais de teu amor do que do vinho;[Ela] : Elas estão certas em te amar;

mashcheni acharecha narutsah heviani hamelech chadarayv nagilah venismchah bach nazkirah dodecha miyayin mesharim ahevucha

5Eu sou morena, porém bela, ó filhas de Jerusalém: [morena] como as tendas de Quedar, [bela] como as cortinas de Salomão.

shechorah ani venavah benot yerushalim keahole kedar kiriot shelomoh

6Não fiquem me olhando por eu ser morena, pois o sol brilhou sobre mim; os filhos de minha mãe se irritaram contra mim, [e] me puseram para cuidar de vinhas; [porém] minha própria vinha, que me pertence, não cuidei.

al-tiruni sheani shecharchoret sheshezafatni hashamesh bene imi nicharu-vi samuni noterah et-hakramim karmi sheli lo natarti

7Dize-me, amado de minha alma: onde apascentas [o teu gado] ?

hagidah li sheahavah nafshi echah tireh echah tarbits batsahorayim shalamah ehyeh keotyah al edre chaverecha

lesusati berichve faroh dimitich rayati

navu lechayayich batorim tsauarech bacharuzim

ad-shehamelech bimsibo nirdi natan recho

13Meu amado é para mim [como] um saquinho de mirra que passa a noite entre meus seios;

tseror hamor dodi li ben shaday yalin

eshkol hakofer dodi li becharme en gedi

15[Ele] : Como tu és bela, minha querida! Como tu és bela! Teus olhos são [como] pombas.

hinach yafah rayati hinach yafah enayich yonim
