1E disse-lhe sua sogra Noemi: Filha minha, não tenho de buscar descanso a ti, para que fiques bem?
וַתֹּ֥אמֶר לָ֖הּ נָעֳמִ֣י חֲמוֹתָ֑הּ בִּתִּ֞י הֲלֹ֧א אֲבַקֶּשׁ־לָ֛ךְ מָנ֖וֹחַ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִֽיטַב־לָֽךְ׃
vatomer lah naomi chamotah biti halo avakesh-lach manocha asher yitav-lach
2Não é Boaz nosso parente, com cujas moças tu tens estado? Eis que ele aventa esta noite a os grãos de cevada.
וְעַתָּ֗ה הֲלֹ֥א בֹ֙עַז֙ מֹֽדַעְתָּ֔נוּ אֲשֶׁ֥ר הָיִ֖ית אֶת־נַעֲרוֹתָ֑יו הִנֵּה־ה֗וּא זֹרֶ֛ה אֶת־גֹּ֥רֶן הַשְּׂעֹרִ֖ים הַלָּֽיְלָה׃
veatah halo voaz modatanu asher hayit et-naarotayv hineh-hu zoreh et-goren hasorim halaylah
3Tu te lavarás, pois, e te ungirás, e vestindo-te tuas vestes, passarás à eira; mas não te darás a conhecer ao homem até que ele tenha acabado de comer e de beber.
וְרָחַ֣צְתְּ ׀ וָסַ֗כְתְּ וְשַׂ֧מְתְּ שמלתך עָלַ֖יִךְ וירדתי הַגֹּ֑רֶן אַל־תִּוָּדְעִ֣י לָאִ֔ישׁ עַ֥ד כַּלֹּת֖וֹ לֶאֱכֹ֥ל וְלִשְׁתּֽוֹת׃
verachatst vasacht vesamt shmltch alayich vyrdty hagoren al-tiuadi laish ad kaloto leechol velishtot
4E quando ele se deitar, repara tu o lugar de onde ele se deitará, e irás, e descobrirás os pés, e te deitarás ali; e ele te dirá o que tenhas de fazer.
וִיהִ֣י בְשָׁכְב֗וֹ וְיָדַ֙עַתְּ֙ אֶת־הַמָּקוֹם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִשְׁכַּב־שָׁ֔ם וּבָ֛את וְגִלִּ֥ית מַרְגְּלֹתָ֖יו ושכבתי וְהוּא֙ יַגִּ֣יד לָ֔ךְ אֵ֖ת אֲשֶׁ֥ר תַּעַשִֽׂין׃
vihi veshachvo veyadaat et-hamakom asher yishkav-sham uvat vegilit marglotayv vshchvty vehu yagid lach et asher taasin
5E lhe respondeu: Farei tudo o que tu me mandares.
וַתֹּ֖אמֶר אֵלֶ֑יהָ כֹּ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־תֹּאמְרִ֥י אֶֽעֱשֶֽׂה׃
vatomer eleha kol asher-tomri eeseh
6Desceu, pois à eira, e fez tudo o que sua sogra lhe havia mandado.
וַתֵּ֖רֶד הַגֹּ֑רֶן וַתַּ֕עַשׂ כְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־צִוַּ֖תָּה חֲמוֹתָֽהּ׃
vatered hagoren vataas kechol asher-tsiuatah chamotah
7E quando Boaz havia comido e bebido, e seu coração esteve contente, retirou-se para dormir a um lado do amontoado. Então ela veio caladamente, e revelou os pés, e deitou-se.
וַיֹּ֨אכַל בֹּ֤עַז וַיֵּשְׁתְּ֙ וַיִּיטַ֣ב לִבּ֔וֹ וַיָּבֹ֕א לִשְׁכַּ֖ב בִּקְצֵ֣ה הָעֲרֵמָ֑ה וַתָּבֹ֣א בַלָּ֔ט וַתְּגַ֥ל מַרְגְּלֹתָ֖יו וַתִּשְׁכָּֽב׃
vayochal boaz vayesht vayitav libo vayavo lishkav biktseh haaremah vatavo valat vatgal marglotayv vatishkav
8E aconteceu, que à meia noite se estremeceu aquele homem, e apalpou: e eis que, a mulher que estava deitada a seus pés.
וַיְהִי֙ בַּחֲצִ֣י הַלַּ֔יְלָה וַיֶּחֱרַ֥ד הָאִ֖ישׁ וַיִּלָּפֵ֑ת וְהִנֵּ֣ה אִשָּׁ֔ה שֹׁכֶ֖בֶת מַרְגְּלֹתָֽיו׃
vayhi bachatsi halaylah vayecherad haish vayilafet vehineh ishah shochevet marglotayv
9Então ele disse: Quem és? E ela respondeu: Eu sou Rute tua serva: estende a borda de tua capa sobre tua serva, porquanto és parente próximo.
וַיֹּ֖אמֶר מִי־אָ֑תּ וַתֹּ֗אמֶר אָנֹכִי֙ ר֣וּת אֲמָתֶ֔ךָ וּפָרַשְׂתָּ֤ כְנָפֶ֙ךָ֙ עַל־אֲמָ֣תְךָ֔ כִּ֥י גֹאֵ֖ל אָֽתָּה׃
vayomer mi-at vatomer anochi rut amatecha ufarasta chenafecha al-amatcha ki goel atah
10E ele disse: Bendita sejas tu do SENHOR, filha minha; que fizeste melhor tua última bondade que a primeira, não indo atrás dos rapazes, sejam pobres ou ricos.
וַיֹּ֗אמֶר בְּרוּכָ֨ה אַ֤תְּ לַֽיהוָה֙ בִּתִּ֔י הֵיטַ֛בְתְּ חַסְדֵּ֥ךְ הָאַחֲר֖וֹן מִן־הָרִאשׁ֑וֹן לְבִלְתִּי־לֶ֗כֶת אַחֲרֵי֙ הַבַּ֣חוּרִ֔ים אִם־דַּ֖ל וְאִם־עָשִֽׁיר׃
vayomer beruchah at layhvah biti hetavt chasdech haacharon min-harishon levilti-lechet achare habachurim im-dal veim-ashir
11Agora, pois, não temas, filha minha: eu farei contigo o que tu disseres, pois que toda a porta de meu povo sabe que és mulher virtuosa.
וְעַתָּ֗ה בִּתִּי֙ אַל־תִּ֣ירְאִ֔י כֹּ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־תֹּאמְרִ֖י אֶֽעֱשֶׂה־לָּ֑ךְ כִּ֤י יוֹדֵ֙עַ֙ כָּל־שַׁ֣עַר עַמִּ֔י כִּ֛י אֵ֥שֶׁת חַ֖יִל אָֽתְּ׃
veatah biti al-tiri kol asher-tomri eeseh-lach ki yodea kal-shaar ami ki eshet chayil at
12E agora, ainda que seja certo que eu sou parente próximo, contudo isso há parente mais próximo que eu.
וְעַתָּה֙ כִּ֣י אָמְנָ֔ם כִּ֥י אם גֹאֵ֖ל אָנֹ֑כִי וְגַ֛ם יֵ֥שׁ גֹּאֵ֖ל קָר֥וֹב מִמֶּֽנִּי׃
veatah ki amnam ki m goel anochi vegam yesh goel karov mimeni
13Repousa esta noite, e quando for de dia, se ele te redimir, bem, redima-te; mas se ele não te quiser redimir, eu te redimirei, vive o SENHOR. Descansa, pois, até a manhã.
לִ֣ינִי ׀ הַלַּ֗יְלָה וְהָיָ֤ה בַבֹּ֙קֶר֙ אִם־יִגְאָלֵ֥ךְ טוֹב֙ יִגְאָ֔ל וְאִם־לֹ֨א יַחְפֹּ֧ץ לְגָֽאֳלֵ֛ךְ וּגְאַלְתִּ֥יךְ אָנֹ֖כִי חַי־יְהוָ֑ה שִׁכְבִ֖י עַד־הַבֹּֽקֶר׃
lini halaylah vehayah vaboker im-yigalech tov yigal veim-lo yachpots legaolech ugaltich anochi chay-Yahweh shichvi ad-haboker
14E depois que repousou a seus pés até a manhã, levantou-se, antes que ninguém pudesse conhecer a outro. E ele disse: Não se saiba que tenha vindo mulher à eira.
וַתִּשְׁכַּ֤ב מרגלתו עַד־הַבֹּ֔קֶר וַתָּ֕קָם בטרום יַכִּ֥יר אִ֖ישׁ אֶת־רֵעֵ֑הוּ וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אַל־יִוָּדַ֔ע כִּי־בָ֥אָה הָאִשָּׁ֖ה הַגֹּֽרֶן׃
vatishkav mrgltv ad-haboker vatakam vtrvm yakir ish et-reehu vayomer al-yiuada ki-vaah haishah hagoren
15Depois lhe disse: Aproxima o lenço que trazes sobre ti, e segura-o. E enquanto ela o segurava, ele mediu seis medidas de cevada, e as pôs às costas: e veio ela à cidade.
וַיֹּ֗אמֶר הָ֠בִי הַמִּטְפַּ֧חַת אֲשֶׁר־עָלַ֛יִךְ וְאֶֽחֳזִי־בָ֖הּ וַתֹּ֣אחֶז בָּ֑הּ וַיָּ֤מָד שֵׁשׁ־שְׂעֹרִים֙ וַיָּ֣שֶׁת עָלֶ֔יהָ וַיָּבֹ֖א הָעִֽיר׃
vayomer havi hamitpachat asher-alayich veechozi-vah vatochez bah vayamad shesh-seorim vayashet aleha vayavo hair
16Assim que veio à sua sogra, esta lhe disse: Que houve, minha filha? E ela lhe declarou ela tudo o que com aquele homem lhe havia acontecido.
וַתָּבוֹא֙ אֶל־חֲמוֹתָ֔הּ וַתֹּ֖אמֶר מִי־אַ֣תְּ בִּתִּ֑י וַתַּ֨גֶּד־לָ֔הּ אֵ֛ת כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָֽשָׂה־לָ֖הּ הָאִֽישׁ׃
vatavo el-chamotah vatomer mi-at biti vataged-lah et kal-asher asah-lah haish
17E disse: Estas seis medidas de cevada me deu, dizendo-me: Porque não vás vazia à tua sogra.
וַתֹּ֕אמֶר שֵׁשׁ־הַשְּׂעֹרִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה נָ֣תַן לִ֑י כִּ֚י אָמַ֣ר אַל־תָּב֥וֹאִי רֵיקָ֖ם אֶל־חֲמוֹתֵֽךְ׃
vatomer shesh-hasorim haeleh natan li ki amar al-tavoi rekam el-chamotech
18Então Noemi disse: Repousa, filha minha, até que saibas como a coisa se sucede; porque aquele homem não parará até que hoje conclua o negócio.
וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ שְׁבִ֣י בִתִּ֔י עַ֚ד אֲשֶׁ֣ר תֵּֽדְעִ֔ין אֵ֖יךְ יִפֹּ֣ל דָּבָ֑ר כִּ֣י לֹ֤א יִשְׁקֹט֙ הָאִ֔ישׁ כִּֽי־אִם־כִּלָּ֥ה הַדָּבָ֖ר הַיּֽוֹם׃
