Psalms 90

Bíblia Livre (BLIVRE) + Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC)

Hide the originalView word by word

Below each verse in the original comes an approximate reading, in italics, for anyone who wants to pronounce the text aloud. It is not academic transliteration: it does not mark stress or settle the cases that depend on grammatical analysis, and the four-letter Name is read “Yahweh”, by the founder’s decision — the Hebrew pointing instructs saying “Adonai”, and Portuguese Bibles render it “SENHOR”.

tefilah lemosheh ish-haelohim adonay maon atah hayita lanu bedor vador

beterem harim yuladu vatcholel erets vetevel umeolam ad-olam atah el

tashev enosh ad-daka vatomer shuvu vene-adam

ki elef shanim beenecha keyom etmol ki yaavor veashmurah valaylah

zeramtam shenah yihyu baboker kechatsir yachalof

6De madrugada floresce, e brota; à tarde é cortada, e se seca.

baboker yatsits vechalaf laerev yemolel veyavesh

ki-chalinu veapecha uvachamatcha nivhalnu

8Tu pões nossas perversidades perante ti, nosso [pecado] oculto [perante] a luz do teu rosto.

sht aonotenu lenegdecha alumenu limor panecha

yeme-shenotenu vahem shivim shanah veim bigvurot shemonim shanah verahbam amal vaaven ki-gaz chish vanaufah

11Quem conhece a força de tua ira? O teu furor é conforme o temor a ti.

mi-yodea oz apecha uchyiratcha evratecha

limnot yamenu ken hoda venavi levav chachmah

13Retorna, SENHOR! Até quando? [Tem] compaixão para com teus servos.

shuvah Yahweh ad-matay vehinachem al-avadecha

sabenu vaboker chasdecha unrannah venismchah bechal-yamenu

samchenu kimot initanu shenot rainu raah

yeraeh el-avadecha faolecha vahadarcha al-benehem

17E que o agrado do SENHOR nosso Deus seja sobre nós; e confirma as obras de nossas mãos sobre nós; sim, a obra de nossas mãos, confirma!
