Psalms 27

Bíblia Livre (BLIVRE) + Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC)

Hide the originalView word by word

Below each verse in the original comes an approximate reading, in italics, for anyone who wants to pronounce the text aloud. It is not academic transliteration: it does not mark stress or settle the cases that depend on grammatical analysis, and the four-letter Name is read “Yahweh”, by the founder’s decision — the Hebrew pointing instructs saying “Adonai”, and Portuguese Bibles render it “SENHOR”.

ledavid Yahweh ori veyishi mimi ira Yahweh maoz-chayay mimi efchad

5Porque no dia mal ele me esconderá em seu abrigo; ele me encobrirá no oculto de sua tenda; [e] me porá sobre as rochas.

7Ouve, SENHOR, minha voz, [quando] eu clamo; tem piedade de mim, e responde-me.

8Ele diz a ti, meu coração: Buscai a minha face.Eu busco a tua face, SENHOR.

9Não escondas de mim a tua face, nem rejeites a teu servo com ira; tu tens sido meu socorro; não me deixes, nem me desampares, ó Deus de minha salvação.

10Porque meu pai e minha mãe me abandonaram, mas o SENHOR me recolherá.

ki-avi veimi azavuni vayhvah yaasfeni

11Ensina-me, SENHOR, o teu caminho; e guia-me pela via correta, por causa dos meus inimigos.
