Psalms 25

Bíblia Livre (BLIVRE) + Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC)

Hide the originalView word by word

Below each verse in the original comes an approximate reading, in italics, for anyone who wants to pronounce the text aloud. It is not academic transliteration: it does not mark stress or settle the cases that depend on grammatical analysis, and the four-letter Name is read “Yahweh”, by the founder’s decision — the Hebrew pointing instructs saying “Adonai”, and Portuguese Bibles render it “SENHOR”.

1Salmo de Davi: A ti, SENHOR, levanto minha alma.

לְדָוִ֡ד אֵלֶ֥יךָ יְ֝הוָ֗ה נַפְשִׁ֥י אֶשָּֽׂא׃

2Meu Deus, eu confio em ti; não me deixes envergonhado, nem que meus inimigos se alegrem por me [vencerem] .

7Não te lembres dos pecados de minha juventude e das minhas transgressões; [mas sim] , conforme tua misericórdia, lembra-te de mim por tua bondade, SENHOR.
