Psalms 141
Below each verse in the original comes an approximate reading, in italics, for anyone who wants to pronounce the text aloud. It is not academic transliteration: it does not mark stress or settle the cases that depend on grammatical analysis, and the four-letter Name is read “Yahweh”, by the founder’s decision — the Hebrew pointing instructs saying “Adonai”, and Portuguese Bibles render it “SENHOR”.
1Salmo de Davi: Ó SENHOR, eu clamo a ti; apressa-te a mim; ouve minha voz, quando eu clamar a ti.
מִזְמ֗וֹר לְדָ֫וִ֥ד יְהוָ֣ה קְ֭רָאתִיךָ ח֣וּשָׁה לִּ֑י הַאֲזִ֥ינָה ק֝וֹלִ֗י בְּקָרְאִי־לָֽךְ׃
mizmor ledavid Yahweh keraticha chushah li haazinah koli bekari-lach
2Apresente-se minha oração [como] incenso diante de ti; [e] o levantar de minhas mãos [como] a oferta do anoitecer.
תִּכּ֤וֹן תְּפִלָּתִ֣י קְטֹ֣רֶת לְפָנֶ֑יךָ מַֽשְׂאַ֥ת כַּ֝פַּ֗י מִנְחַת־עָֽרֶב׃
tikon tefilati ketoret lefanecha masat kapay minchat-arev
3Põe, SENHOR, uma guarda em minha boca; vigia a abertura dos meus lábios.
שִׁיתָ֣ה יְ֭הוָה שָׁמְרָ֣ה לְפִ֑י נִ֝צְּרָ֗ה עַל־דַּ֥ל שְׂפָתָֽי׃

4Não inclines meu coração para as coisas más, para fazer o mal junto com homens que praticam maldade; e não coma eu das delícias deles.
אַל־תַּט־לִבִּ֨י לְדָבָ֪ר ׀ רָ֡ע לְהִתְע֘וֹלֵ֤ל עֲלִל֨וֹת ׀ בְּרֶ֗שַׁע אֶת־אִישִׁ֥ים פֹּֽעֲלֵי־אָ֑וֶן וּבַל־אֶ֝לְחַ֗ם בְּמַנְעַמֵּיהֶֽם׃
al-tat-libi ledavar ra lehitolel alilot beresha et-ishim poale-aven uval-elcham bemanamehem
5Que o justo me faça o favor de me espancar e me repreender; [isto me será] azeite sobre a cabeça; minha cabeça não rejeitará, porque ainda orarei contra as maldades deles.
יֶֽהֶלְמֵֽנִי־צַדִּ֨יק ׀ חֶ֡סֶד וְֽיוֹכִיחֵ֗נִי שֶׁ֣מֶן רֹ֭אשׁ אַל־יָנִ֣י רֹאשִׁ֑י כִּי־ע֥וֹד וּ֝תְפִלָּתִ֗י בְּרָעוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃
yehelmeni-tsadik chesed veyochicheni shemen rosh al-yani roshi ki-od utfilati beraotehem
6[Quando] seus juízes forem lançados contra a rocha, então ouvirão minhas palavras, porque [são] agradáveis.
נִשְׁמְט֣וּ בִֽידֵי־סֶ֭לַע שֹׁפְטֵיהֶ֑ם וְשָׁמְע֥וּ אֲ֝מָרַ֗י כִּ֣י נָעֵֽמוּ׃
nishmtu vide-sela shoftehem veshamu amaray ki naemu
7Como quem lavra e fende a terra, assim nossos ossos são espalhados à entrada do Xeol.
כְּמ֤וֹ פֹלֵ֣חַ וּבֹקֵ֣עַ בָּאָ֑רֶץ נִפְזְר֥וּ עֲ֝צָמֵ֗ינוּ לְפִ֣י שְׁאֽוֹל׃
kemo folecha uvokea baarets nifzru atsamenu lefi sheol
8Porém meus olhos [estão voltados] para ti, ó Senhor DEUS; em ti confio; não desampares minha alma.
כִּ֤י אֵלֶ֨יךָ ׀ יְהֹוִ֣ה אֲדֹנָ֣י עֵינָ֑י בְּכָ֥ה חָ֝סִ֗יתִי אַל־תְּעַ֥ר נַפְשִֽׁי׃
ki elecha Yahweh adonay enay bechah chasiti al-tear nafshi
9Guarda-me do perigo da armadilha que me prepararam; e dos laços da cilada dos que praticam maldade.
שָׁמְרֵ֗נִי מִ֣ידֵי פַ֭ח יָ֣קְשׁוּ לִ֑י וּ֝מֹקְשׁ֗וֹת פֹּ֣עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן׃
shamreni mide fach yakshu li umokshot poale aven
10Caiam os perversos cada um em suas próprias redes, e eu passe adiante [em segurança] .
יִפְּל֣וּ בְמַכְמֹרָ֣יו רְשָׁעִ֑ים יַ֥חַד אָ֝נֹכִ֗י עַֽד־אֶעֱבֽוֹר׃
