Psalms 132
Below each verse in the original comes an approximate reading, in italics, for anyone who wants to pronounce the text aloud. It is not academic transliteration: it does not mark stress or settle the cases that depend on grammatical analysis, and the four-letter Name is read “Yahweh”, by the founder’s decision — the Hebrew pointing instructs saying “Adonai”, and Portuguese Bibles render it “SENHOR”.
1Cântico dos degraus: Lembra-te, SENHOR, de Davi, [e] de todas as aflições dele.
שִׁ֗יר הַֽמַּ֫עֲל֥וֹת זְכוֹר־יְהוָ֥ה לְדָוִ֑ד אֵ֝ת כָּל־עֻנּוֹתֽוֹ׃

2Ele, que jurou ao SENHOR, [e] fez um voto ao Poderoso de Jacó,
אֲשֶׁ֣ר נִ֭שְׁבַּע לַיהוָ֑ה נָ֝דַ֗ר לַאֲבִ֥יר יַעֲקֹֽב׃
asher nishba layhvah nadar laavir yaakov
3[dizendo] : Não entrarei na tenda de minha casa, nem subirei no leito de minha cama;
אִם־אָ֭בֹא בְּאֹ֣הֶל בֵּיתִ֑י אִם־אֶ֝עֱלֶ֗ה עַל־עֶ֥רֶשׂ יְצוּעָֽי׃
im-avo beohel beti im-eeleh al-eres yetsuay
4Não darei sono aos meus olhos, [nem] cochilo às minhas pálpebras;
אִם־אֶתֵּ֣ן שְׁנַ֣ת לְעֵינָ֑י לְֽעַפְעַפַּ֥י תְּנוּמָֽה׃

5Enquanto eu não achar um lugar para o SENHOR, moradas para o Poderoso de Jacó.
עַד־אֶמְצָ֣א מָ֭קוֹם לַיהוָ֑ה מִ֝שְׁכָּנ֗וֹת לַאֲבִ֥יר יַעֲקֹֽב׃

6Eis que ouvimos dela em Efrata, e [a] achamos nos campos de Jaar.
הִנֵּֽה־שְׁמַֽעֲנ֥וּהָ בְאֶפְרָ֑תָה מְ֝צָאנ֗וּהָ בִּשְׂדֵי־יָֽעַר׃
hineh-shemaanuha veefratah metsanuha bisde-yaar
7Entraremos em suas moradas, [e] nos prostraremos perante o escabelo de seus pés.
נָב֥וֹאָה לְמִשְׁכְּנוֹתָ֑יו נִ֝שְׁתַּחֲוֶ֗ה לַהֲדֹ֥ם רַגְלָֽיו׃

8Levanta-te, SENHOR, a teu repouso; tu e a arca de teu poder.
קוּמָ֣ה יְ֭הוָה לִמְנוּחָתֶ֑ךָ אַ֝תָּ֗ה וַאֲר֥וֹן עֻזֶּֽךָ׃
kumah Yahweh limnuchatecha atah vaaron uzecha
9Que teus sacerdotes se vistam de justiça, e teus santos gritem de alegria.
כֹּהֲנֶ֥יךָ יִלְבְּשׁוּ־צֶ֑דֶק וַחֲסִידֶ֥יךָ יְרַנֵּֽנוּ׃
kohanecha yilbshu-tsedek vachasidecha yeranenu
10Por causa de Davi teu servo, não rejeites o rosto de teu ungido.
בַּ֭עֲבוּר דָּוִ֣ד עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ אַל־תָּ֝שֵׁ֗ב פְּנֵ֣י מְשִׁיחֶֽךָ׃
baavur david avdecha al-tashev pene meshichecha
11O SENHOR jurou a Davi [com] fidelidade; dela não se desviará. [Ele disse] : Do fruto do teu ventre porei sobre o teu trono.
נִשְׁבַּֽע־יְהוָ֨ה ׀ לְדָוִ֡ד אֱמֶת֮ לֹֽא־יָשׁ֪וּב מִ֫מֶּ֥נָּה מִפְּרִ֥י בִטְנְךָ֑ אָ֝שִׁ֗ית לְכִסֵּא־לָֽךְ׃
nishba-Yahweh ledavid emet lo-yashuv mimenah mipri vitncha ashit lechise-lach
12Se teus filhos guardarem meu pacto e meus testemunhos que eu lhes ensinar, também seus filhos se sentarão sobre teu trono para sempre.
אִֽם־יִשְׁמְר֬וּ בָנֶ֨יךָ ׀ בְּרִיתִי֮ וְעֵדֹתִ֥י ז֗וֹ אֲלַ֫מְּדֵ֥ם גַּם־בְּנֵיהֶ֥ם עֲדֵי־עַ֑ד יֵ֝שְׁב֗וּ לְכִסֵּא־לָֽךְ׃
im-yishmru vanecha beriti veedoti zo alamdem gam-benehem ade-ad yeshvu lechise-lach
13Porque o SENHOR escolheu a Sião, desejou-a para sua habitação,
כִּֽי־בָחַ֣ר יְהוָ֣ה בְּצִיּ֑וֹן אִ֝וָּ֗הּ לְמוֹשָׁ֥ב לֽוֹ׃
ki-vachar Yahweh betsion iuah lemoshav lo
14[Dizendo] : Este é o meu repouso para sempre; aqui habitarei, pois assim desejei.
זֹאת־מְנוּחָתִ֥י עֲדֵי־עַ֑ד פֹּֽה־אֵ֝שֵׁ֗ב כִּ֣י אִוִּתִֽיהָ׃
zot-menuchati ade-ad poh-eshev ki iuitiha
15Abençoarei seu sustento abundantemente, [e] fartarei seus necessitados de pão.
צֵ֭ידָהּ בָּרֵ֣ךְ אֲבָרֵ֑ךְ אֶ֝בְיוֹנֶ֗יהָ אַשְׂבִּ֥יעַֽ לָֽחֶם׃
tsedah barech avarech evyoneha asbia lachem
16E a seus sacerdotes vestirei de salvação; e seus santos gritarão de alegria abundantemente.
וְֽ֭כֹהֲנֶיהָ אַלְבִּ֣ישׁ יֶ֑שַׁע וַ֝חֲסִידֶ֗יהָ רַנֵּ֥ן יְרַנֵּֽנוּ׃
vechohaneha albish yesha vachasideha ranen yeranenu
17Ali farei brotar o poder de Davi; e preparei uma lâmpada para o meu ungido.
שָׁ֤ם אַצְמִ֣יחַ קֶ֣רֶן לְדָוִ֑ד עָרַ֥כְתִּי נֵ֝֗ר לִמְשִׁיחִֽי׃
sham atsmicha keren ledavid arachti ner limshichi
18A seus inimigos vestirei de vergonha; mas sobre ele florescerá sua coroa.
א֭וֹיְבָיו אַלְבִּ֣ישׁ בֹּ֑שֶׁת וְ֝עָלָ֗יו יָצִ֥יץ נִזְרֽוֹ׃
