Proverbs 5

Bíblia Livre (BLIVRE) + Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC)

Hide the originalView word by word

Below each verse in the original comes an approximate reading, in italics, for anyone who wants to pronounce the text aloud. It is not academic transliteration: it does not mark stress or settle the cases that depend on grammatical analysis, and the four-letter Name is read “Yahweh”, by the founder’s decision — the Hebrew pointing instructs saying “Adonai”, and Portuguese Bibles render it “SENHOR”.

1Filho meu, presta atenção à minha sabedoria, inclina teus ouvidos ao meu entendimento.

beni lechachmati hakshivah litvunati hat-aznecha

2Para que guardes o bom-senso; e teus lábios conservem o conhecimento.

lishmor mezimot vedaat sefatecha yintsoru

ki nofet titofnah sifte zarah vechalak mishemen chikah

veacharitah marah chalaanah chadah kecherev piot

ragleha yordot mavet sheol tseadeha yitmochu

pen-titen laacherim hodecha ushnotecha leachzari

10Para que estranhos não se fartem de teu poder, e teus trabalhos [não sejam] aproveitados em casa alheia;

pen-yisbu zarim kochecha vaatsavecha bevet nachri

12E digas: Como eu odiei a correção, e meu coração desprezou a repreensão?

sheteh-mayim miborecha venozlim mitoch beerecha

yafutsu maynotecha chutsah barchovot palge-mayim

yihyu-lecha levadecha veen lezarim itach

yehi-mekorcha varuch usmach meeshet neurecha

ayelet ahavim veyaalat-chen dadeha yerauucha vechal-et beahavatah tishgeh tamid
