1E quando viu Balaão que parecia bem ao SENHOR que o abençoasse a Israel, não foi, como a primeira e segunda vez, a encontro de agouros, mas sim que pôs seu rosto até o deserto;

וַיַּ֣רְא בִּלְעָ֗ם כִּ֣י ט֞וֹב בְּעֵינֵ֤י יְהוָה֙ לְבָרֵ֣ךְ אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְלֹא־הָלַ֥ךְ כְּפַֽעַם־בְּפַ֖עַם לִקְרַ֣את נְחָשִׁ֑ים וַיָּ֥שֶׁת אֶל־הַמִּדְבָּ֖ר פָּנָֽיו׃

vayar bilam ki tov beene Yahweh levarech et-yisrael velo-halach kefaam-befaam likrat nechashim vayashet el-hamidbar panayv

2E levantando seus olhos, viu a Israel alojado por suas tribos; e o espírito de Deus veio sobre ele.

וַיִּשָּׂ֨א בִלְעָ֜ם אֶת־עֵינָ֗יו וַיַּרְא֙ אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל שֹׁכֵ֖ן לִשְׁבָטָ֑יו וַתְּהִ֥י עָלָ֖יו ר֥וּחַ אֱלֹהִֽים׃

vayisa vilam et-enayv vayar et-yisrael shochen lishvatayv vathi alayv rucha elohim

3Então tomou sua parábola, e disse: Disse Balaão filho de Beor, E disse o homem de olhos abertos:

וַיִּשָּׂ֥א מְשָׁל֖וֹ וַיֹּאמַ֑ר נְאֻ֤ם בִּלְעָם֙ בְּנ֣וֹ בְעֹ֔ר וּנְאֻ֥ם הַגֶּ֖בֶר שְׁתֻ֥ם הָעָֽיִן׃

vayisa meshalo vayomar neum bilam beno veor unum hagever shetum haayin

4Disse o que ouviu os ditos de Deus, O que viu a visão do Todo-Poderoso; caído, mas abertos os olhos:

נְאֻ֕ם שֹׁמֵ֖עַ אִמְרֵי־אֵ֑ל אֲשֶׁ֨ר מַחֲזֵ֤ה שַׁדַּי֙ יֶֽחֱזֶ֔ה נֹפֵ֖ל וּגְל֥וּי עֵינָֽיִם׃

neum shomea imre-el asher machazeh shaday yechezeh nofel ugluy enayim

5Quão belas são tuas tendas, ó Jacó, Tuas habitações, ó Israel!

מַה־טֹּ֥בוּ אֹהָלֶ֖יךָ יַעֲקֹ֑ב מִשְׁכְּנֹתֶ֖יךָ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

mah-tovu ohalecha yaakov mishknotecha yisrael

6Como ribeiros estão estendidas, Como jardins junto ao rio, Como aloés plantados pelo SENHOR, Como cedros junto às águas.

כִּנְחָלִ֣ים נִטָּ֔יוּ כְּגַנֹּ֖ת עֲלֵ֣י נָהָ֑ר כַּאֲהָלִים֙ נָטַ֣ע יְהוָ֔ה כַּאֲרָזִ֖ים עֲלֵי־מָֽיִם׃

kinchalim nitayu keganot ale nahar kaahalim nata Yahweh kaarazim ale-mayim

7De suas mãos destilarão águas, E sua descendência será em muitas águas: E se levantará seu rei mais que Agague, E seu reino será exaltado.

יִֽזַּל־מַ֙יִם֙ מִדָּ֣לְיָ֔ו וְזַרְע֖וֹ בְּמַ֣יִם רַבִּ֑ים וְיָרֹ֤ם מֵֽאֲגַג֙ מַלְכּ֔וֹ וְתִנַּשֵּׂ֖א מַלְכֻתֽוֹ׃

yizal-mayim midalyav vezaro bemayim rabim veyarom meagag malko vetinase malchuto

8Deus o tirou do Egito; Tem forças como de boi selvagem: Comerá às nações suas inimigas, E esmiuçará seus ossos, E perfurará com suas flechas.

אֵ֚ל מוֹצִיא֣וֹ מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם כְּתוֹעֲפֹ֥ת רְאֵ֖ם ל֑וֹ יֹאכַ֞ל גּוֹיִ֣ם צָרָ֗יו וְעַצְמֹתֵיהֶ֛ם יְגָרֵ֖ם וְחִצָּ֥יו יִמְחָֽץ׃

el motsio mimitsrayim ketoafot reem lo yochal goyim tsarayv veatsmotehem yegarem vechitsayv yimchats

9Se encurvará para deitar-se como leão, E como leoa; quem o despertará? Benditos os que te abençoarem, E malditos os que te amaldiçoarem.

כָּרַ֨ע שָׁכַ֧ב כַּאֲרִ֛י וּכְלָבִ֖יא מִ֣י יְקִימֶ֑נּוּ מְבָרֲכֶ֣יךָ בָר֔וּךְ וְאֹרְרֶ֖יךָ אָרֽוּר׃

kara shachav kaari uchlavi mi yekimenu mevarachecha varuch veorrecha arur

10Então se acendeu a ira de Balaque contra Balaão, e batendo suas palmas lhe disse: Para amaldiçoar a meus inimigos te chamei, e eis que os abençoaste insistentemente já três vezes.

וַיִּֽחַר־אַ֤ף בָּלָק֙ אֶל־בִּלְעָ֔ם וַיִּסְפֹּ֖ק אֶת־כַּפָּ֑יו וַיֹּ֨אמֶר בָּלָ֜ק אֶל־בִּלְעָ֗ם לָקֹ֤ב אֹֽיְבַי֙ קְרָאתִ֔יךָ וְהִנֵּה֙ בֵּרַ֣כְתָּ בָרֵ֔ךְ זֶ֖ה שָׁלֹ֥שׁ פְּעָמִֽים׃

vayichar-af balak el-bilam vayispok et-kapayv vayomer balak el-bilam lakov oyvay keraticha vehineh berachta varech zeh shalosh peamim

11Foge-te, portanto, agora a teu lugar: eu disse que te honraria, mas eis que o SENHOR te privou de honra.

וְעַתָּ֖ה בְּרַח־לְךָ֣ אֶל־מְקוֹמֶ֑ךָ אָמַ֙רְתִּי֙ כַּבֵּ֣ד אֲכַבֶּדְךָ֔ וְהִנֵּ֛ה מְנָעֲךָ֥ יְהוָ֖ה מִכָּבֽוֹד׃

veatah berach-lecha el-mekomecha amarti kabed achabedcha vehineh menaacha Yahweh mikavod

12E Balaão lhe respondeu: Não o declarei eu também a teus mensageiros que me enviaste, dizendo:

וַיֹּ֥אמֶר בִּלְעָ֖ם אֶל־בָּלָ֑ק הֲלֹ֗א גַּ֧ם אֶל־מַלְאָכֶ֛יךָ אֲשֶׁר־שָׁלַ֥חְתָּ אֵלַ֖י דִּבַּ֥רְתִּי לֵאמֹֽר׃

vayomer bilam el-balak halo gam el-malachecha asher-shalachta elay dibarti lemor

13Se Balaque me desse sua casa cheia de prata e ouro, eu não poderei transgredir o dito do SENHOR para fazer coisa boa nem má de minha vontade; mas o que o SENHOR falar, isso direi eu?

אִם־יִתֶּן־לִ֨י בָלָ֜ק מְלֹ֣א בֵיתוֹ֮ כֶּ֣סֶף וְזָהָב֒ לֹ֣א אוּכַ֗ל לַעֲבֹר֙ אֶת־פִּ֣י יְהוָ֔ה לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת טוֹבָ֛ה א֥וֹ רָעָ֖ה מִלִּבִּ֑י אֲשֶׁר־יְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֹת֥וֹ אֲדַבֵּֽר׃

im-yiten-li valak melo veto kesef vezahav lo uchal laavor et-pi Yahweh laasot tovah o raah milibi asher-yedaber Yahweh oto adaber

14Eis que eu me vou agora a meu povo: portanto, vem, te indicarei o que este povo há de fazer a teu povo nos últimos dias.

וְעַתָּ֕ה הִנְנִ֥י הוֹלֵ֖ךְ לְעַמִּ֑י לְכָה֙ אִיעָ֣צְךָ֔ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יַעֲשֶׂ֜ה הָעָ֥ם הַזֶּ֛ה לְעַמְּךָ֖ בְּאַחֲרִ֥ית הַיָּמִֽים׃

veatah hinni holech leami lechah iatscha asher yaaseh haam hazeh leamcha beacharit hayamim

15E tomou sua parábola, e disse: Disse Balaão filho de Beor, Disse o homem de olhos abertos:

וַיִּשָּׂ֥א מְשָׁל֖וֹ וַיֹּאמַ֑ר נְאֻ֤ם בִּלְעָם֙ בְּנ֣וֹ בְעֹ֔ר וּנְאֻ֥ם הַגֶּ֖בֶר שְׁתֻ֥ם הָעָֽיִן׃

vayisa meshalo vayomar neum bilam beno veor unum hagever shetum haayin

16Disse o que ouviu os ditos do SENHOR, E o que sabe o conhecimento do Altíssimo, o que viu a visão do Todo-Poderoso; caído, mas abertos os olhos:

נְאֻ֗ם שֹׁמֵ֙עַ֙ אִמְרֵי־אֵ֔ל וְיֹדֵ֖עַ דַּ֣עַת עֶלְי֑וֹן מַחֲזֵ֤ה שַׁדַּי֙ יֶֽחֱזֶ֔ה נֹפֵ֖ל וּגְל֥וּי עֵינָֽיִם׃

neum shomea imre-el veyodea daat elyon machazeh shaday yechezeh nofel ugluy enayim

17Verei, mas não agora: O olharei, mas não de perto: Sairá estrela de Jacó, E se levantará cetro de Israel, E ferirá os cantos de Moabe, E destruirá a todos os filhos de Sete.

אֶרְאֶ֙נּוּ֙ וְלֹ֣א עַתָּ֔ה אֲשׁוּרֶ֖נּוּ וְלֹ֣א קָר֑וֹב דָּרַ֨ךְ כּוֹכָ֜ב מִֽיַּעֲקֹ֗ב וְקָ֥ם שֵׁ֙בֶט֙ מִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וּמָחַץ֙ פַּאֲתֵ֣י מוֹאָ֔ב וְקַרְקַ֖ר כָּל־בְּנֵי־שֵֽׁת׃

erenu velo atah ashurenu velo karov darach kochav miyaakov vekam shevet miyisrael umachats paate moav vekarkar kal-bene-shet

18E será tomada Edom, Será também tomada Seir por seus inimigos, E Israel se portará corajosamente.

וְהָיָ֨ה אֱד֜וֹם יְרֵשָׁ֗ה וְהָיָ֧ה יְרֵשָׁ֛ה שֵׂעִ֖יר אֹיְבָ֑יו וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל עֹ֥שֶׂה חָֽיִל׃

vehayah edom yereshah vehayah yereshah seir oyvayv veyisrael oseh chayil

19E o de Jacó será dominador, E destruirá da cidade o que restar.

וְיֵ֖רְדְּ מִֽיַּעֲקֹ֑ב וְהֶֽאֱבִ֥יד שָׂרִ֖יד מֵעִֽיר׃

veyerd miyaakov veheevid sarid meir

20E vendo a Amaleque, tomou sua parábola, e disse: Amaleque, cabeça de nações; Mas seu fim perecerá para sempre.

וַיַּרְא֙ אֶת־עֲמָלֵ֔ק וַיִּשָּׂ֥א מְשָׁל֖וֹ וַיֹּאמַ֑ר רֵאשִׁ֤ית גּוֹיִם֙ עֲמָלֵ֔ק וְאַחֲרִית֖וֹ עֲדֵ֥י אֹבֵֽד׃

vayar et-amalek vayisa meshalo vayomar reshit goyim amalek veacharito ade oved

21E vendo aos queneus, tomou sua parábola, e disse: Forte é tua habitação, Põe na rocha tua ninho:

וַיַּרְא֙ אֶת־הַקֵּינִ֔י וַיִּשָּׂ֥א מְשָׁל֖וֹ וַיֹּאמַ֑ר אֵיתָן֙ מֽוֹשָׁבֶ֔ךָ וְשִׂ֥ים בַּסֶּ֖לַע קִנֶּֽךָ׃

vayar et-hakeni vayisa meshalo vayomar etan moshavecha vesim basela kinecha

22Que os queneus serão expulsos, Quando Assur te levará cativo.

כִּ֥י אִם־יִהְיֶ֖ה לְבָ֣עֵֽר קָ֑יִן עַד־מָ֖ה אַשּׁ֥וּר תִּשְׁבֶּֽךָּ׃

ki im-yihyeh levaer kayin ad-mah ashur tishbecha

23Todavia tomou sua parábola, e disse: Ai! quem viverá quando fizer Deus estas coisas?

וַיִּשָּׂ֥א מְשָׁל֖וֹ וַיֹּאמַ֑ר א֕וֹי מִ֥י יִחְיֶ֖ה מִשֻּׂמ֥וֹ אֵֽל׃

vayisa meshalo vayomar oy mi yichyeh misumo el

24E virão navios da costa de Quitim, E afligirão a Assur, afligirão também a Éber: Mas ele também perecerá para sempre.

וְצִים֙ מִיַּ֣ד כִּתִּ֔ים וְעִנּ֥וּ אַשּׁ֖וּר וְעִנּוּ־עֵ֑בֶר וְגַם־ה֖וּא עֲדֵ֥י אֹבֵֽד׃

vetsim miyad kitim veinu ashur veinu-ever vegam-hu ade oved

25Então se levantou Balaão, e se foi, e voltou-se a seu lugar: e também Balaque se foi por seu caminho.

וַיָּ֣קָם בִּלְעָ֔ם וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ וַיָּ֣שָׁב לִמְקֹמ֑וֹ וְגַם־בָּלָ֖ק הָלַ֥ךְ לְדַרְכּֽוֹ׃ פ

vayakam bilam vayelech vayashav limkomo vegam-balak halach ledarko
