Numbers 12
Below each verse in the original comes an approximate reading, in italics, for anyone who wants to pronounce the text aloud. It is not academic transliteration: it does not mark stress or settle the cases that depend on grammatical analysis, and the four-letter Name is read “Yahweh”, by the founder’s decision — the Hebrew pointing instructs saying “Adonai”, and Portuguese Bibles render it “SENHOR”.

2E disseram: Por acaso o SENHOR falou somente por Moisés? Não falou também por nós? E o SENHOR ouviu isso.

4E logo disse o SENHOR a Moisés, a Arão, e a Miriã: Saí vós três à tenda do encontro. E saíram eles três.

11E disse Arão a Moisés: Ah!
