Job 8

Bíblia Livre (BLIVRE) + Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC)

Hide the originalView word by word

Below each verse in the original comes an approximate reading, in italics, for anyone who wants to pronounce the text aloud. It is not academic transliteration: it does not mark stress or settle the cases that depend on grammatical analysis, and the four-letter Name is read “Yahweh”, by the founder’s decision — the Hebrew pointing instructs saying “Adonai”, and Portuguese Bibles render it “SENHOR”.

1Então Bildade, o suíta, respondeu, dizendo:

vayaan bildad hashuchi vayomar

ad-an temalel-eleh verucha kabir imre-ficha

3Por acaso Deus perverteria o direito, ou o Todo-Poderoso perverteria a justiça?

hael yeauet mishpat veim-shaday yeauet-tsedek

im-banecha chatu-lo vayshalchem beyad-pisham

5Se tu buscares a Deus com empenho, e pedires misericórdia ao Todo-Poderoso;

im-zach veyashar atah ki-atah yair alecha veshilam nevat tsidkecha

vehayah reshitcha mitsar veacharitcha yisgeh meod

ki-temol anachnu velo neda ki tsel yamenu ale-arets

hayigeh-gome belo vitsah yisgeh-achu veli-mayim

odenu veibo lo yikatef velifne chal-chatsir yivash

13Assim são os caminhos de todos os que esquecem de Deus; e a esperança do corrupto perecerá;

asher-yakot kislo uvet akavish mivtacho

yishaen al-beto velo yaamod yachazik bo velo yakum

16Ele está bem regado diante do sol, e seus ramos brotam por cima de sua horta;

ratov hu lifne-shamesh veal ganato yonakto tetse

hen-hu mesos darko umeafar acher yitsmachu

hen-el lo yimas-tam velo-yachazik beyad-mereim

21Ainda ele encherá tua boca de riso, e teus lábios de júbilo.

ad-yemaleh sechok picha usfatecha teruah
