Job 7

Bíblia Livre (BLIVRE) + Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC)

Hide the originalView word by word

Below each verse in the original comes an approximate reading, in italics, for anyone who wants to pronounce the text aloud. It is not academic transliteration: it does not mark stress or settle the cases that depend on grammatical analysis, and the four-letter Name is read “Yahweh”, by the founder’s decision — the Hebrew pointing instructs saying “Adonai”, and Portuguese Bibles render it “SENHOR”.

halo-tsava leenosh l -arets vechime sachir yamayv

keeved yishaf-tsel uchsachir yekaueh faolo

3Assim também me deram por herança meses inúteis, e me prepararam noites de sofrimento.

ken hanchalti li yarche-shav velelot amal minu-li

4Quando eu me deito, pergunto: Quando me levantarei? Mas a noite se prolonga, e me canso de me virar [na cama] até o amanhecer.

im-shachavti veamarti matay akum umidad-arev vesavati nedudim ade-nashef

lavash besari rimah vgysh afar ori raga vayimaes

yamay kalu mini-areg vayichlu beefes tikvah

zechor ki-rucha chayay lo-tashuv eni lirot tov

8Os olhos dos que me veem não me verão mais; teus olhos estarão sobre mim, porém deixarei de existir.

kalah anan vayelach ken yored sheol lo yaaleh

gam-ani lo echesach pi adabrah betsar ruchi asichah bemar nafshi

hayam-ani im-tanin ki-tasim alay mishmar

13Quando eu digo: Minha cama me consolará; meu leito aliviará minhas queixa,

ki-amarti tenachameni arsi yisa vesichi mishkavi

14Então tu me espantas com sonhos, e me assombras com visões.

vechitatani vachalomot umechezyonot tevaatani

vativchar machanak nafshi mavet meatsmotay

maasti lo-leolam echyeh chadal mimeni ki-hevel yamay

mah-enosh ki tegadlenu vechi-tashit elayv libecha

18E o visites a cada manhã, e a cada momento o proves?

vatifkdenu livkarim lirgaim tivchanenu

19Até quando não me deixarás, nem me liberarás até que eu engula minha saliva?

kamah lo-tisheh mimeni lo-tarpeni ad-bili ruki

chatati mah efal lach notser haadam lamah samtani lemifga lach vaehyeh alay lemasa
