Job 5

Bíblia Livre (BLIVRE) + Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC)

Hide the originalView word by word

Below each verse in the original comes an approximate reading, in italics, for anyone who wants to pronounce the text aloud. It is not academic transliteration: it does not mark stress or settle the cases that depend on grammatical analysis, and the four-letter Name is read “Yahweh”, by the founder’s decision — the Hebrew pointing instructs saying “Adonai”, and Portuguese Bibles render it “SENHOR”.

1Clama agora! Haverá alguém que te responda? E a qual dos santos te voltarás?

kera-na hayesh onecha veel-mi mikdoshim tifneh

2Pois a ira acaba com o louco, e o zelo mata o tolo.

ki-leevil yaharag-kaas ufoteh tamit kinah

ani-raiti evil mashrish vaekov navehu fitom

yirchaku vanayv miyesha veyidaku vashaar veen matsil

asher ketsiro raev yochel veel-mitsinim yikachehu veshaaf tsamim chelam

ki-adam leamal yulad uvne-reshef yagbihu uf

8Porém eu buscaria a Deus, e a ele confiaria minha causa;

ulam ani edrosh el-el veel-elohim asim divrati

9[Pois] ele é o que faz coisas grandiosas e incompreensíveis, e inúmeras maravilhas.

hanoten matar al-pene-arets vesholecha mayim al-pene chutsot

lasum shefalim lemarom vekodrim sagvu yesha

mefer machshvot arumim velo-taasenah yedehem tushiyah

loched chachamim bearmam vaatsat niftalim nimharah

yomam yefagshu-choshech vechalaylah yemashshu vatsahorayim

vayosha mecherev mipihem umiyad chazak evyon

vathi ladal tikvah veolatah kaftsah piha

hineh ashre enosh yochichenu eloha umusar shaday al-timas

beraav padcha mimavet uvmilchamah mide charev

leshod ulchafan tischak umechayat haarets al-tira

veyadata ki-shalom aholecha ufakadta navcha velo techeta

veyadata ki-rav zarecha vetseetsaecha keesev haarets

tavo vechelach ele-kaver kaalot gadish beito
