Job 35

Bíblia Livre (BLIVRE) + Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC)

Hide the originalView word by word

Below each verse in the original comes an approximate reading, in italics, for anyone who wants to pronounce the text aloud. It is not academic transliteration: it does not mark stress or settle the cases that depend on grammatical analysis, and the four-letter Name is read “Yahweh”, by the founder’s decision — the Hebrew pointing instructs saying “Adonai”, and Portuguese Bibles render it “SENHOR”.

1Eliú respondeu mais, dizendo:

vayaan elihu vayomar

hazot chashavta lemishpat amarta tsidki meel

ki-tomar mah-yiskan-lach mah-oil mechatati

4Eu darei reposta a ti, e a teus amigos contigo.

ani ashivcha milin veet-reecha imach

habet shamayim ureh veshur shechakim gavhu mimecha

leish-kamocha rishecha ulven-adam tsidkatecha

merov ashukim yaziku yeshauu mizroa rabim

velo-amar ayeh eloha osay noten zemirot balaylah

malfenu mibahamot arets umeof hashamayim yechakmenu

sham yitsaku velo yaaneh mipne geon raim

af ki-tomar lo teshurenu din lefanayv utcholel lo

veatah ki-ayin pakad apo velo-yada bapash meod

veiov hevel yiftseh-pihu bivli-daat milin yachbir
