Job 30

Bíblia Livre (BLIVRE) + Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC)

Hide the originalView word by word

Below each verse in the original comes an approximate reading, in italics, for anyone who wants to pronounce the text aloud. It is not academic transliteration: it does not mark stress or settle the cases that depend on grammatical analysis, and the four-letter Name is read “Yahweh”, by the founder’s decision — the Hebrew pointing instructs saying “Adonai”, and Portuguese Bibles render it “SENHOR”.

gam-kocha yedehem lamah li alemo avad kalach

becheser uvchafan galmud haorkim tsiyah emesh shoah umshoah

hakotfim malucha ale-sicha veshoresh retamim lachmam

min-gev yegorashu yariu alemo kaganav

ben-sichim yinhaku tachat charul yesupachu

veatah neginatam hayiti vaehi lahem lemilah

tiavuni rachaku meni umipanay lo-chaschu rok

keferets rachav yeetayu tachat shoah hitgalgalu

veatah alay tishtapech nafshi yochazuni yeme-oni

horani lachomer vaetmashel keafar vaefer

tehafech leachzar li beotsem yadcha tistmeni

tisaeni el-rucha tarkiveni utmoggeni tshvh

ki-yadati mavet teshiveni uvet moed lechal-chay

ach lo-vei yishlach-yad im-befido lahen shua

im-lo vachiti liksheh-yom agmah nafshi laevyon

26Quando eu esperava o bem, então veio o mal; quando eu esperava a luz, veio a escuridão.

meay rutchu velo-damu kidmuni yeme-oni

koder hilachti belo chamah kamti vakahal ashauea

29Tornei-me irmão dos chacais, e companheiro dos avestruzes.

ach hayiti letanim verea livnot yaanah

ori shachar mealay veatsmi-charah mini-chorev
