Job 19

Bíblia Livre (BLIVRE) + Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC)

Hide the originalView word by word

Below each verse in the original comes an approximate reading, in italics, for anyone who wants to pronounce the text aloud. It is not academic transliteration: it does not mark stress or settle the cases that depend on grammatical analysis, and the four-letter Name is read “Yahweh”, by the founder’s decision — the Hebrew pointing instructs saying “Adonai”, and Portuguese Bibles render it “SENHOR”.

1Porém Jó respondeu dizendo:

vayaan iov vayomar

ad-anah togyun nafshi utdakunani vemilim

3Já dez vezes me humilhastes; não tendes vergonha em me maltratar.

zeh eser peamim tachlimuni lo-tevoshu tahkru-li

4Mesmo se eu tiver errado, meu erro cabe apenas a mim.

veaf-amnam shagiti iti talin meshugati

im-amnam alay tagdilu vetochichu alay cherpati

6Sabei, pois, que foi Deus que me transtornou, e [com] sua rede me cercou.

deu-efo ki-eloha iutani umtsudo alay hikif

hen etsak chamas velo eaneh ashaua veen mishpat

archi gadar velo eevor veal netivotay choshech yasim

9Ele me despojou de minha honra, e tirou a coroa de minha cabeça.

kevodi mealay hifshit vayasar ateret roshi

yittseni saviv vaelach vayasa kaets tikvati

yachad yavou gedudayv vayasolu alay darkam vayachanu saviv leaholi

13Ele afastou meus irmãos para longe de mim; e os que me conheciam agora me estranham.

achay mealay hirchik veyoday ach-zaru mimeni

chadlu kerovay umyudaay shechechuni

15Os moradores de minha casa e minhas servas me tiveram por estranho; estrangeiro me tornei em seus olhos.

gare veti veamhotay lezar tachshvuni nachri hayiti veenehem

ruchi zarah leishti vechanoti livne vitni

18Até os meninos me desprezam; quando eu me levanto, falam contra mim.

beori uvivsari davkah atsmi vaetmaltah beor shinay

21Compadecei-vos de mim, meus amigos, compadecei-vos de mim; pois a mão de Deus me tocou.

lamah tirdfuni chemo-el umibsari lo tisbau

23Ah se minhas palavras fossem escritas! Ah se fossem escritas em um livro!

mi-yiten efo veyikatvun milay mi-yiten basefer veyuchaku

beet-barzel veofaret laad batsur yechatsvun

25Pois eu sei que meu Redentor vive, e ao fim se levantará sobre a terra;

vaani yadati goali chay veacharon al-afar yakum

26E mesmo depois de consumida minha pele, então em minha carne verei a Deus;

veachar ori nikfu-zot umibsari echezeh eloha

asher ani echezeh-li veenay rau velo-zar kalu chilyotay becheki

28Se disserdes: Como o perseguiremos?
