1O SENHOR me mostrou, e eis dois cestos de figos postos diante do templo do SENHOR, depois de Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, haver levado cativo a Jeconias, filho de Jeoaquim, rei de Judá, e aos príncipes de Judá, e aos carpinteiros e ferreiros de Jerusalém, e os ter trazido à Babilônia.

הִרְאַנִי֮ יְהוָה֒ וְהִנֵּ֗ה שְׁנֵי֙ דּוּדָאֵ֣י תְאֵנִ֔ים מוּעָדִ֕ים לִפְנֵ֖י הֵיכַ֣ל יְהוָ֑ה אַחֲרֵ֣י הַגְל֣וֹת נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֣ר מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֡ל אֶת־יְכָנְיָ֣הוּ בֶן־יְהוֹיָקִ֣ים מֶֽלֶךְ־יְהוּדָה֩ וְאֶת־שָׂרֵ֨י יְהוּדָ֜ה וְאֶת־הֶחָרָ֤שׁ וְאֶת־הַמַּסְגֵּר֙ מִיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם וַיְבִאֵ֖ם בָּבֶֽל׃

hirani Yahweh vehineh shene dudae teenim muadim lifne hechal Yahweh achare haglot nevuchadretsar melech-bavel et-yechanyahu ven-yehoyakim melech-yehudah veet-sare yehudah veet-hecharash veet-hamasger mirushalim vayviem bavel

2Um cesto [tinha] figos muito bons, como os primeiros figos a ficarem maduros; e a outra cesta tinha figos muito ruins, que não podiam ser comidos de tão ruins.

הַדּ֣וּד אֶחָ֗ד תְּאֵנִים֙ טֹב֣וֹת מְאֹ֔ד כִּתְאֵנֵ֖י הַבַּכֻּר֑וֹת וְהַדּ֣וּד אֶחָ֗ד תְּאֵנִים֙ רָע֣וֹת מְאֹ֔ד אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא־תֵֽאָכַ֖לְנָה מֵרֹֽעַ׃ ס

hadud echad teenim tovot meod kitene habakurot vehadud echad teenim raot meod asher lo-teachalnah meroa

3E disse-me o SENHOR: O que tu vês, Jeremias? E eu disse: Figos: os figos bons, muito bons; e os ruins, muito ruins, que de tão ruins não podem ser comidos.

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֵלַ֗י מָֽה־אַתָּ֤ה רֹאֶה֙ יִרְמְיָ֔הוּ וָאֹמַ֖ר תְּאֵנִ֑ים הַתְּאֵנִ֤ים הַטֹּבוֹת֙ טֹב֣וֹת מְאֹ֔ד וְהָֽרָעוֹת֙ רָע֣וֹת מְאֹ֔ד אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא־תֵאָכַ֖לְנָה מֵרֹֽעַ׃ פ

vayomer Yahweh elay mah-atah roeh yirmyahu vaomar teenim hatenim hatovot tovot meod veharaot raot meod asher lo-teachalnah meroa

4Então veio a mim palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:

וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃

vayhi devar-Yahweh elay lemor

5Assim diz o SENHOR Deus de Israel: Tal como a estes bons figos, assim [também] conhecerei aos levados de Judá cativos, aos quais mandei embora deste lugar à terra de Caldeus, para o bem [deles] .

כֹּֽה־אָמַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל כַּתְּאֵנִ֥ים הַטֹּב֖וֹת הָאֵ֑לֶּה כֵּֽן־אַכִּ֞יר אֶת־גָּל֣וּת יְהוּדָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר שִׁלַּ֜חְתִּי מִן־הַמָּק֥וֹם הַזֶּ֛ה אֶ֥רֶץ כַּשְׂדִּ֖ים לְטוֹבָֽה׃

koh-amar Yahweh elohe yisrael katenim hatovot haeleh ken-akir et-galut yehudah asher shilachti min-hamakom hazeh erets kasdim letovah

6E porei meus olhos sobre eles para o bem, e os farei voltar a esta terra; eu os edificarei, e não os destruirei; eu os plantarei, e não os arrancarei.

וְשַׂמְתִּ֨י עֵינִ֤י עֲלֵיהֶם֙ לְטוֹבָ֔ה וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֖ים עַל־הָאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֑את וּבְנִיתִים֙ וְלֹ֣א אֶהֱרֹ֔ס וּנְטַעְתִּ֖ים וְלֹ֥א אֶתּֽוֹשׁ׃

vesamti eni alehem letovah vahashivotim al-haarets hazot uvnitim velo eheros untatim velo etosh

7E lhes darei coração para que me conheçam, que eu sou o SENHOR; e eles serão meu povo, e eu lhes serei seu Deus; porque se converterão a mim de todo seu coração.

וְנָתַתִּי֩ לָהֶ֨ם לֵ֜ב לָדַ֣עַת אֹתִ֗י כִּ֚י אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֔ה וְהָיוּ־לִ֣י לְעָ֔ם וְאָ֣נֹכִ֔י אֶהְיֶ֥ה לָהֶ֖ם לֵאלֹהִ֑ים כִּֽי־יָשֻׁ֥בוּ אֵלַ֖י בְּכָל־לִבָּֽם ׃ ס

venatati lahem lev ladaat oti ki ani Yahweh vehayu-li leam veanochi ehyeh lahem lelohim ki-yashuvu elay bechal-libam

8E tal como os figos ruins, que de tão ruins não podem ser comidos, assim diz o SENHOR, assim [também] farei a Zedequias rei de Judá, e a seus príncipes, e ao resto de Jerusalém que restarem nesta terra, e aos que habitam na terra do Egito.

וְכַתְּאֵנִים֙ הָֽרָע֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא־תֵאָכַ֖לְנָה מֵרֹ֑עַ כִּי־כֹ֣ה ׀ אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֗ה כֵּ֣ן אֶ֠תֵּן אֶת־צִדְקִיָּ֨הוּ מֶֽלֶךְ־יְהוּדָ֤ה וְאֶת־שָׂרָיו֙ וְאֵ֣ת ׀ שְׁאֵרִ֣ית יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם הַנִּשְׁאָרִים֙ בָּאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֔את וְהַיֹּשְׁבִ֖ים בְּאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

vechatenim haraot asher lo-teachalnah meroa ki-choh amar Yahweh ken eten et-tsidkiyahu melech-yehudah veet-sarayv veet sheerit yerushalim hanisharim baarets hazot vehayoshvim beerets mitsrayim

9E os farei de motivo de horror para o mal a todos os reinos da terra; de insulto, de ditado, de ridículo, e de maldição a todos os lugares para onde eu os expulsei.

וּנְתַתִּים֙ לזועה לְרָעָ֔ה לְכֹ֖ל מַמְלְכ֣וֹת הָאָ֑רֶץ לְחֶרְפָּ֤ה וּלְמָשָׁל֙ לִשְׁנִינָ֣ה וְלִקְלָלָ֔ה בְּכָל־הַמְּקֹמ֖וֹת אֲשֶֽׁר־אַדִּיחֵ֥ם שָֽׁם׃

untatim lzvh leraah lechol mamlchot haarets lecherpah ulmashal lishninah veliklalah bechal-hamkomot asher-adichem sham

10E enviarei entre eles espada, fome, e pestilência, até que sejam eliminados de sobre a terra que dei a eles e a seus pais.

וְשִׁלַּ֣חְתִּי בָ֔ם אֶת־הַחֶ֖רֶב אֶת־הָרָעָ֣ב וְאֶת־הַדָּ֑בֶר עַד־תֻּמָּם֙ מֵעַ֣ל הָאֲדָמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־נָתַ֥תִּי לָהֶ֖ם וְלַאֲבוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ פ

veshilachti vam et-hacherev et-haraav veet-hadaver ad-tumam meal haadamah asher-natati lahem velaavotehem
