Habakkuk 3

Bíblia Livre (BLIVRE) + Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC)

Hide the originalView word by word

Below each verse in the original comes an approximate reading, in italics, for anyone who wants to pronounce the text aloud. It is not academic transliteration: it does not mark stress or settle the cases that depend on grammatical analysis, and the four-letter Name is read “Yahweh”, by the founder’s decision — the Hebrew pointing instructs saying “Adonai”, and Portuguese Bibles render it “SENHOR”.

1Oração do profeta Habacuque, conforme “Siguionote”.

tefilah lachavakuk hanavi al shigyonot

2Ó SENHOR, ouvido tenho tua fama; temi, Ó SENHOR, a tua obra; renova-a no meio dos anos; faze-a conhecida no meio dos anos; na ira lembra-te da misericórdia.

5A praga ia adiante dele, e a pestilência seguia seus pés.

lefanayv yelech daver veyetse reshef leraglayv

18Mesmo assim eu me alegrarei no SENHOR, terei prazer no Deus de minha salvação.
