Ezekiel 19

Bíblia Livre (BLIVRE) + Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC)

Hide the originalView word by word

Below each verse in the original comes an approximate reading, in italics, for anyone who wants to pronounce the text aloud. It is not academic transliteration: it does not mark stress or settle the cases that depend on grammatical analysis, and the four-letter Name is read “Yahweh”, by the founder’s decision — the Hebrew pointing instructs saying “Adonai”, and Portuguese Bibles render it “SENHOR”.

veamarta mah imcha leviya ben arayot ravatsah betoch kefirim ribtah gureha

vataal echad migureha kefir hayah vayilmad litraf-teref adam achal

vayishmu elayv goyim beshachtam nitpas vayviuhu vachachim el-erets mitsrayim

vatere ki nochalah avdah tikvatah vatikach echad migureha kefir samathu

vayithalech betoch-arayot kefir hayah vayilmad litraf-teref adam achal

vayeda almnotayv vearehem hecheriv vatesham erets umloah mikol shaagato

veatah shetulah vamidbar beerets tsiyah vetsama
