Daniel 8

Bíblia Livre (BLIVRE) + Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC)

Hide the originalView word by word

Below each verse in the original comes an approximate reading, in italics, for anyone who wants to pronounce the text aloud. It is not academic transliteration: it does not mark stress or settle the cases that depend on grammatical analysis, and the four-letter Name is read “Yahweh”, by the founder’s decision — the Hebrew pointing instructs saying “Adonai”, and Portuguese Bibles render it “SENHOR”.

1No terceiro ano do reinado do rei Belsazar, apareceu uma visão a mim, Daniel, depois daquela que tinha me aparecido no princípio.

5E enquanto eu estava considerando, eis um bode que vinha do ocidente sobre a face de toda a terra, e ele não tocava a terra; e aquele bode tinha um chifre muito visível entre seus olhos;

14E ele me disse: Até duas mil e trezentas tardes e manhãs; e o santuário será purificado.
