1E nos dias de Davi houve fome por três anos consecutivos. E Davi consultou ao SENHOR, e o SENHOR lhe disse: É por Saul, e por aquela casa de sangue; porque matou aos gibeonitas.
וַיְהִ֣י רָעָב֩ בִּימֵ֨י דָוִ֜ד שָׁלֹ֣שׁ שָׁנִ֗ים שָׁנָה֙ אַחֲרֵ֣י שָׁנָ֔ה וַיְבַקֵּ֥שׁ דָּוִ֖ד אֶת־פְּנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה ס וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְהוָ֗ה אֶל־שָׁאוּל֙ וְאֶל־בֵּ֣ית הַדָּמִ֔ים עַל־אֲשֶׁר־הֵמִ֖ית אֶת־הַגִּבְעֹנִֽים׃

2Então o rei chamou aos gibeonitas, e falou-lhes. (Os gibeonitas não eram dos filhos de Israel, mas sim do resto dos amorreus, aos quais os filhos de Israel fizeram juramento; mas Saul havia procurado matá-los com motivo de zelo pelos filhos de Israel e de Judá).
וַיִּקְרָ֥א הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ לַגִּבְעֹנִ֖ים וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם וְהַגִּבְעֹנִ֞ים לֹ֣א מִבְּנֵ֧י יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל הֵ֗מָּה כִּ֚י אִם־מִיֶּ֣תֶר הָאֱמֹרִ֔י וּבְנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ נִשְׁבְּע֣וּ לָהֶ֔ם וַיְבַקֵּ֤שׁ שָׁאוּל֙ לְהַכֹּתָ֔ם בְּקַנֹּאת֥וֹ לִבְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וִיהוּדָֽה׃

3Disse, pois Davi aos gibeonitas: Que vos farei, e com que expiarei para que abençoeis à herança do SENHOR?
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר דָּוִד֙ אֶל־הַגִּבְעֹנִ֔ים מָ֥ה אֶעֱשֶׂ֖ה לָכֶ֑ם וּבַמָּ֣ה אֲכַפֵּ֔ר וּבָרְכ֖וּ אֶת־נַחֲלַ֥ת יְהוָֽה׃
vayomer david el-hagivonim mah eeseh lachem uvamah achaper uvarchu et-nachalat Yahweh
4E os gibeonitas lhe responderam: Não temos nós queixa sobre prata nem sobre ouro com Saul, e com sua casa: nem queremos que morra homem de Israel. E ele lhes disse: O que vós disserdes vos farei.
וַיֹּ֧אמְרוּ ל֣וֹ הַגִּבְעֹנִ֗ים אֵֽין־לי כֶּ֤סֶף וְזָהָב֙ עִם־שָׁא֣וּל וְעִם־בֵּית֔וֹ וְאֵֽין־לָ֥נוּ אִ֖ישׁ לְהָמִ֣ית בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיֹּ֛אמֶר מָֽה־אַתֶּ֥ם אֹמְרִ֖ים אֶעֱשֶׂ֥ה לָכֶֽם׃
vayomru lo hagivonim en-ly kesef vezahav im-shaul veim-beto veen-lanu ish lehamit beyisrael vayomer mah-atem omrim eeseh lachem
5E eles responderam ao rei: Daquele homem que nos destruiu, e que tramou contra nós, para nos exterminar sem deixar nada de nós em todo aquele termo de Israel;
וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙ אֶל־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ הָאִישׁ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר כִּלָּ֔נוּ וַאֲשֶׁ֖ר דִּמָּה־לָ֑נוּ נִשְׁמַ֕דְנוּ מֵֽהִתְיַצֵּ֖ב בְּכָל־גְּבֻ֥ל יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
vayomru el-hamelech haish asher kilanu vaasher dimah-lanu nishmadnu mehityatsev bechal-gevul yisrael
6Deem-se a nós sete homens de seus filhos, para que os enforquemos ao SENHOR em Gibeá de Saul, o escolhido do SENHOR. E o rei disse: Eu os darei.
ינתן ־לָ֜נוּ שִׁבְעָ֤ה אֲנָשִׁים֙ מִבָּנָ֔יו וְהוֹקַֽעֲנוּם֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה בְּגִבְעַ֥ת שָׁא֖וּל בְּחִ֣יר יְהוָ֑ה ס וַיֹּ֥אמֶר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ אֲנִ֥י אֶתֵּֽן׃
yntn -lanu shivah anashim mibanayv vehokaanum layhvah begivat shaul bechir Yahweh vayomer hamelech ani eten
7E perdoou o rei a Mefibosete, filho de Jônatas, filho de Saul, pelo juramento do SENHOR que havia entre eles, entre Davi e Jônatas filho de Saul.
וַיַּחְמֹ֣ל הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ עַל־מְפִי־בֹ֖שֶׁת בֶּן־יְהוֹנָתָ֣ן בֶּן־שָׁא֑וּל עַל־שְׁבֻעַ֤ת יְהוָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בֵּֽינֹתָ֔ם בֵּ֣ין דָּוִ֔ד וּבֵ֖ין יְהוֹנָתָ֥ן בֶּן־שָׁאֽוּל׃
vayachmol hamelech al-mefi-voshet ben-yehonatan ben-shaul al-shevuat Yahweh asher benotam ben david uven yehonatan ben-shaul
8Mas tomou o rei dois filhos de Rispa filha de Aiá, os quais ela havia dado à luz de Saul, a saber, a Armoni e a Mefibosete; e cinco filhos de Mical filha de Saul, os quais ela havia dado à luz de Adriel, filho de Barzilai meolatita;
וַיִּקַּ֣ח הַמֶּ֡לֶךְ אֶת־שְׁ֠נֵי בְּנֵ֨י רִצְפָּ֤ה בַת־אַיָּה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יָלְדָ֣ה לְשָׁא֔וּל אֶת־אַרְמֹנִ֖י וְאֶת־מְפִבֹ֑שֶׁת וְאֶת־חֲמֵ֗שֶׁת בְּנֵי֙ מִיכַ֣ל בַּת־שָׁא֔וּל אֲשֶׁ֥ר יָלְדָ֛ה לְעַדְרִיאֵ֥ל בֶּן־בַּרְזִלַּ֖י הַמְּחֹלָתִֽי׃
vayikach hamelech et-shene bene ritspah vat-ayah asher yaldah leshaul et-armoni veet-mefivoshet veet-chameshet bene michal bat-shaul asher yaldah leadriel ben-barzilay hamcholati
9E entregou-os em mãos dos gibeonitas, e eles os enforcaram no monte diante do SENHOR: e morreram juntos aqueles sete, os quais foram mortos no tempo da colheita, nos primeiros dias, no princípio da colheita das cevadas.
וַֽיִּתְּנֵ֞ם בְּיַ֣ד הַגִּבְעֹנִ֗ים וַיֹּקִיעֻ֤ם בָּהָר֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה וַיִּפְּל֥וּ שבעתים יָ֑חַד והם הֻמְת֜וּ בִּימֵ֤י קָצִיר֙ בָּרִ֣אשֹׁנִ֔ים תחלת קְצִ֥יר שְׂעֹרִֽים׃
vayitnem beyad hagivonim vayokium bahar lifne Yahweh vayiplu shvtym yachad vhm humtu bime katsir barishonim tchlt ketsir seorim
10Tomando logo Rispa filha de Aiá um saco, estendeu-o sobre um penhasco, desde o princípio da colheita até que choveu sobre eles água do céu; e não deixou a nenhuma ave do céu assentar-se sobre eles de dia, nem animais do campo de noite.
וַתִּקַּ֣ח רִצְפָּה֩ בַת־אַיָּ֨ה אֶת־הַשַּׂ֜ק וַתַּטֵּ֨הוּ לָ֤הּ אֶל־הַצּוּר֙ מִתְּחִלַּ֣ת קָצִ֔יר עַ֛ד נִתַּךְ־מַ֥יִם עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם מִן־הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם וְלֹֽא־נָתְנָה֩ ע֨וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֜יִם לָנ֤וּחַ עֲלֵיהֶם֙ יוֹמָ֔ם וְאֶת־חַיַּ֥ת הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה לָֽיְלָה׃
vatikach ritspah vat-ayah et-hasak vatatehu lah el-hatsur mitchilat katsir ad nitach-mayim alehem min-hashamayim velo-natnah of hashamayim lanucha alehem yomam veet-chayat hasadeh laylah
11E foi dito a Davi o que fazia Rispa filha de Aiá, concubina de Saul.
וַיֻּגַּ֖ד לְדָוִ֑ד אֵ֧ת אֲשֶׁר־עָשְׂתָ֛ה רִצְפָּ֥ה בַת־אַיָּ֖ה פִּלֶ֥גֶשׁ שָׁאֽוּל׃
vayugad ledavid et asher-astah ritspah vat-ayah pilegesh shaul
12Então Davi foi, e tomou os ossos de Saul e os ossos de Jônatas seu filho, dos homens de Jabes de Gileade, que os haviam furtado da praça de Bete-Seã, de onde os haviam pendurado os filisteus, quando os filisteus mataram a Saul em Gilboa:
וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ דָּוִ֗ד וַיִּקַּ֞ח אֶת־עַצְמ֤וֹת שָׁאוּל֙ וְאֶת־עַצְמוֹת֙ יְהוֹנָתָ֣ן בְּנ֔וֹ מֵאֵ֕ת בַּעֲלֵ֖י יָבֵ֣ישׁ גִּלְעָ֑ד אֲשֶׁר֩ גָּנְב֨וּ אֹתָ֜ם מֵרְחֹ֣ב בֵּֽית־שַׁ֗ן אֲשֶׁ֨ר תלום שם הפלשתים בְּי֨וֹם הַכּ֧וֹת פְּלִשְׁתִּ֛ים אֶת־שָׁא֖וּל בַּגִּלְבֹּֽעַ׃
vayelech david vayikach et-atsmot shaul veet-atsmot yehonatan beno meet baale yavesh gilad asher ganvu otam merchov bet-shan asher tlvm shm hflshtym beyom hakot pelishtim et-shaul bagilboa
13E fez levar dali os ossos de Saul e os ossos de Jônatas seu filho; e juntaram também os ossos dos enforcados.
וַיַּ֤עַל מִשָּׁם֙ אֶת־עַצְמ֣וֹת שָׁא֔וּל וְאֶת־עַצְמ֖וֹת יְהוֹנָתָ֣ן בְּנ֑וֹ וַיַּ֣אַסְפ֔וּ אֶת־עַצְמ֖וֹת הַמּוּקָעִֽים׃
vayaal misham et-atsmot shaul veet-atsmot yehonatan beno vayaasfu et-atsmot hamukaim
14E sepultaram os ossos de Saul e os de seu filho Jônatas em terra de Benjamim, em Selá, no sepulcro de Quis seu pai; e fizeram tudo o que o rei havia mandado. Depois se aplacou Deus com a terra.
וַיִּקְבְּר֣וּ אֶת־עַצְמוֹת ־שָׁא֣וּל וִיהוֹנָֽתָן־בְּ֠נוֹ בְּאֶ֨רֶץ בִּנְיָמִ֜ן בְּצֵלָ֗ע בְּקֶ֙בֶר֙ קִ֣ישׁ אָבִ֔יו וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֔וּ כֹּ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֖ה הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וַיֵּעָתֵ֧ר אֱלֹהִ֛ים לָאָ֖רֶץ אַֽחֲרֵי־כֵֽן׃ פ
vayikbru et-atsmot -shaul vihonatan-beno beerets binyamin betsela bekever kish aviv vayaasu kol asher-tsiuah hamelech vayeater elohim laarets achare-chen
15Quando os filisteus voltaram a fazer guerra a Israel, Davi desceu com os seus servos, e lutaram contra os filisteus; e Davi se cansou.
וַתְּהִי־ע֧וֹד מִלְחָמָ֛ה לַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיֵּ֨רֶד דָּוִ֜ד וַעֲבָדָ֥יו עִמּ֛וֹ וַיִּלָּחֲמ֥וּ אֶת־פְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים וַיָּ֥עַף דָּוִֽד׃
vathi-od milchamah laplishtim et-yisrael vayered david vaavadayv imo vayilachamu et-pelishtim vayaaf david
16Nisso, Isbi-Benobe, que era dos filhos do gigante, e que cuja lança pesava trezentos siclos de bronze, estando ele cingido com uma espada nova, pretendeu ferir Davi.
וישבו בְּנֹ֜ב אֲשֶׁ֣ר ׀ בִּילִידֵ֣י הָרָפָ֗ה וּמִשְׁקַ֤ל קֵינוֹ֙ שְׁלֹ֤שׁ מֵאוֹת֙ מִשְׁקַ֣ל נְחֹ֔שֶׁת וְה֖וּא חָג֣וּר חֲדָשָׁ֑ה וַיֹּ֖אמֶר לְהַכּ֥וֹת אֶת־דָּוִֽד׃
vyshvv benov asher bilide harafah umishkal keno shelosh meot mishkal nechoshet vehu chagur chadashah vayomer lehakot et-david
17Mas Abisai, filho de Zeruia, o socorreu, feriu o filisteu, e o matou. Então os homens de Davi lhe juraram, dizendo: “Nunca mais sairás conosco à batalha, para que não apagues a lâmpada de Israel.”
וַיַּֽעֲזָר־לוֹ֙ אֲבִישַׁ֣י בֶּן־צְרוּיָ֔ה וַיַּ֥ךְ אֶת־הַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֖י וַיְמִיתֵ֑הוּ אָ֣ז נִשְׁבְּעוּ֩ אַנְשֵׁי־דָוִ֨ד ל֜וֹ לֵאמֹ֗ר לֹא־תֵצֵ֨א ע֤וֹד אִתָּ֙נוּ֙ לַמִּלְחָמָ֔ה וְלֹ֥א תְכַבֶּ֖ה אֶת־נֵ֥ר יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ פ
vayaazar-lo avishay ben-tseruyah vayach et-haplishti vaymitehu az nishbu anshe-david lo lemor lo-tetse od itanu lamilchamah velo techabeh et-ner yisrael
18Outra segunda guerra houve depois em Gobe contra os filisteus; então Sibecai, husatita, feriu a Safe, que era dos filhos do gigante.
וַֽיְהִי֙ אַֽחֲרֵי־כֵ֔ן וַתְּהִי־ע֧וֹד הַמִּלְחָמָ֛ה בְּג֖וֹב עִם־פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים אָ֣ז הִכָּ֗ה סִבְּכַי֙ הַחֻ֣שָׁתִ֔י אֶת־סַ֕ף אֲשֶׁ֖ר בִּילִדֵ֥י הָרָפָֽה׃ פ
vayhi achare-chen vathi-od hamilchamah begov im-pelishtim az hikah sibchay hachushati et-saf asher bilide harafah
19Outra guerra houve em Gobe contra os filisteus, na qual Elanã, filho de Jaaré-Oregim de Belém, feriu a Golias geteu, a haste de cuja lança era como um lançador de tear.
וַתְּהִי־ע֧וֹד הַמִּלְחָמָ֛ה בְּג֖וֹב עִם־פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים וַיַּ֡ךְ אֶלְחָנָן֩ בֶּן־יַעְרֵ֨י אֹרְגִ֜ים בֵּ֣ית הַלַּחְמִ֗י אֵ֚ת גָּלְיָ֣ת הַגִּתִּ֔י וְעֵ֣ץ חֲנִית֔וֹ כִּמְנ֖וֹר אֹרְגִֽים׃ ס
vathi-od hamilchamah begov im-pelishtim vayach elchanan ben-yare orgim bet halachmi et galyat hagiti veets chanito kimnor orgim
20Depois houve outra guerra em Gate, de onde houve um homem de grande altura, o qual tinha doze dedos nas mãos, e outros doze nos pés, vinte e quatro em todos: e também era dos filhos do gigante.
וַתְּהִי־ע֥וֹד מִלְחָמָ֖ה בְּגַ֑ת וַיְהִ֣י ׀ אִ֣ישׁ מדין וְאֶצְבְּעֹ֣ת יָדָיו֩ וְאֶצְבְּעֹ֨ת רַגְלָ֜יו שֵׁ֣שׁ וָשֵׁ֗שׁ עֶשְׂרִ֤ים וְאַרְבַּע֙ מִסְפָּ֔ר וְגַם־ה֖וּא יֻלַּ֥ד לְהָרָפָֽה׃
vathi-od milchamah begat vayhi ish mdyn veetsbot yadayv veetsbot raglayv shesh vashesh esrim vearba mispar vegam-hu yulad leharafah
21Este desafiou a Israel, e foi morto por Jônatas, filho de Simeia irmão de Davi.
וַיְחָרֵ֖ף אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיַּכֵּ֙הוּ֙ יְה֣וֹנָתָ֔ן בֶּן־שמעי אֲחִ֥י דָוִֽד׃
vaycharef et-yisrael vayakehu yehonatan ben-shmy achi david
22Estes quatro lhe haviam nascido ao gigante em Gate, os quais caíram pela mão de Davi e pela mão de seus servos.
אֶת־אַרְבַּ֥עַת אֵ֛לֶּה יֻלְּד֥וּ לְהָרָפָ֖ה בְּגַ֑ת וַיִּפְּל֥וּ בְיַד־דָּוִ֖ד וּבְיַ֥ד עֲבָדָֽיו׃ פ
et-arbaat eleh yuldu leharafah begat vayiplu veyad-david uvyad avadayv
