2 Chronicles 21

Bíblia Livre (BLIVRE) + Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC)

Hide the originalView word by word

Below each verse in the original comes an approximate reading, in italics, for anyone who wants to pronounce the text aloud. It is not academic transliteration: it does not mark stress or settle the cases that depend on grammatical analysis, and the four-letter Name is read “Yahweh”, by the founder’s decision — the Hebrew pointing instructs saying “Adonai”, and Portuguese Bibles render it “SENHOR”.

14Eis que o SENHOR ferirá teu povo de uma grande praga, e a teus filhos e a tuas mulheres, e a toda tua riqueza;

16Então despertou o SENHOR contra Jeorão o espírito dos filisteus, e dos árabes que estavam junto aos etíopes;

vayaar Yahweh al-yehoram et rucha haplishtim vehaarvim asher al-yad kushim
