1E Roboão foi a Siquém porque em Siquém se havia juntado todo Israel para fazê-lo rei.
וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ רְחַבְעָ֖ם שְׁכֶ֑מָה כִּ֥י שְׁכֶ֛ם בָּ֥אוּ כָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לְהַמְלִ֥יךְ אֹתֽוֹ׃
vayelech rechavam shechemah ki shechem bau chal-yisrael lehamlich oto
2E quando o ouviu Jeroboão filho de Nebate, o qual estava em Egito, de onde havia fugido por causa do rei Salomão, voltou do Egito.
וַיְהִ֞י כִּשְׁמֹ֨עַ יָרָבְעָ֤ם בֶּן־נְבָט֙ וְה֣וּא בְמִצְרַ֔יִם אֲשֶׁ֣ר בָּרַ֔ח מִפְּנֵ֖י שְׁלֹמֹ֣ה הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וַיָּ֥שָׁב יָרָבְעָ֖ם מִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃
vayhi kishmoa yaravam ben-nevat vehu vemitsrayim asher barach mipne shelomoh hamelech vayashav yaravam mimitsrayim
3E enviaram e chamaram-lhe. Veio, pois, Jeroboão, e todo Israel, e falaram a Roboão, dizendo:
וַֽיִּשְׁלְחוּ֙ וַיִּקְרְאוּ־ל֔וֹ וַיָּבֹ֥א יָרָבְעָ֖ם וְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַֽיְדַבְּר֔וּ אֶל־רְחַבְעָ֖ם לֵאמֹֽר׃
vayishlchu vayikru-lo vayavo yaravam vechal-yisrael vaydabru el-rechavam lemor
4Teu pai agravou nosso jugo: alivia tu, pois, agora algo da dura servidão, e do grave jugo com que teu pai nos pressionou, e te serviremos.
אָבִ֖יךָ הִקְשָׁ֣ה אֶת־עֻלֵּ֑נוּ וְעַתָּ֡ה הָקֵל֩ מֵעֲבֹדַ֨ת אָבִ֜יךָ הַקָּשָׁ֗ה וּמֵעֻלּ֧וֹ הַכָּבֵ֛ד אֲשֶׁר־נָתַ֥ן עָלֵ֖ינוּ וְנַֽעַבְדֶֽךָּ׃
avicha hikshah et-ulenu veatah hakel meavodat avicha hakashah umeulo hakaved asher-natan alenu venaavdecha
5E ele lhes disse: Voltai a mim daqui a três dias. E o povo se foi.
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵהֶ֗ם ע֛וֹד שְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת יָמִ֖ים וְשׁ֣וּבוּ אֵלָ֑י וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ הָעָֽם׃ ס
vayomer alehem od sheloshet yamim veshuvu elay vayelech haam
6Então o rei Roboão tomou conselho com os anciãos, que haviam estado diante de Salomão seu pai quando vivia, e disse-lhes: Como aconselhais vós que responda a este povo?
וַיִּוָּעַ֞ץ הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ רְחַבְעָ֗ם אֶת־הַזְּקֵנִים֙ אֲשֶׁר־הָי֣וּ עֹֽמְדִ֗ים לִפְנֵי֙ שְׁלֹמֹ֣ה אָבִ֔יו בִּֽהְיֹת֥וֹ חַ֖י לֵאמֹ֑ר אֵ֚יךְ אַתֶּ֣ם נֽוֹעָצִ֔ים לְהָשִׁ֥יב לָֽעָם־הַזֶּ֖ה דָּבָֽר׃
vayiuaats hamelech rechavam et-hazkenim asher-hayu omdim lifne shelomoh aviv bihyoto chay lemor ech atem noatsim lehashiv laam-hazeh davar
7E eles lhe falaram, dizendo: Se te conduzires humanamente com este povo, e os agradares, e lhes falares boas palavras, eles te servirão perpetuamente.
וַיְדַבְּר֨וּ אֵלָ֜יו לֵאמֹ֗ר אִם־תִּֽהְיֶ֨ה לְט֜וֹב לְהָעָ֤ם הַזֶּה֙ וּרְצִיתָ֔ם וְדִבַּרְתָּ֥ אֲלֵהֶ֖ם דְּבָרִ֣ים טוֹבִ֑ים וְהָי֥וּ לְךָ֛ עֲבָדִ֖ים כָּל־הַיָּמִֽים׃
vaydabru elayv lemor im-tihyeh letov lehaam hazeh urtsitam vedibarta alehem devarim tovim vehayu lecha avadim kal-hayamim
8Mas ele, deixando o conselho que lhe deram os anciãos, tomou conselho com os rapazes que se haviam criado com ele, e que diante dele assistiam;
וַֽיַּעֲזֹ֛ב אֶת־עֲצַ֥ת הַזְּקֵנִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר יְעָצֻ֑הוּ וַיִּוָּעַ֗ץ אֶת־הַיְלָדִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר גָּדְל֣וּ אִתּ֔וֹ הָעֹמְדִ֖ים לְפָנָֽיו׃
vayaazov et-atsat hazkenim asher yeatsuhu vayiuaats et-hayladim asher gadlu ito haomdim lefanayv
9E disse-lhes: Que aconselhais vós que respondamos a este povo, que me falou, dizendo: Alivia algo do jugo que teu pai pôs sobre nós?
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵהֶ֗ם מָ֚ה אַתֶּ֣ם נֽוֹעָצִ֔ים וְנָשִׁ֥יב דָּבָ֖ר אֶת־הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֑ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבְּר֤וּ אֵלַי֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר הָקֵל֙ מִן־הָעֹ֔ל אֲשֶׁר־נָתַ֥ן אָבִ֖יךָ עָלֵֽינוּ׃
vayomer alehem mah atem noatsim venashiv davar et-haam hazeh asher dibru elay lemor hakel min-haol asher-natan avicha alenu
10Então os rapazes que se haviam criado com ele, lhe falaram, dizendo: Assim dirás ao povo que te falou dizendo, Teu pai agravou nosso jugo, mas tu livra-nos da carga: assim lhes dirás: O meu dedo mínimo é mais espesso que os lombos de meu pai.
וַיְדַבְּר֣וּ אִתּ֗וֹ הַיְלָדִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֨ר גָּדְל֣וּ אִתּוֹ֮ לֵאמֹר֒ כֹּֽה־תֹאמַ֡ר לָעָם֩ אֲשֶׁר־דִּבְּר֨וּ אֵלֶ֜יךָ לֵאמֹ֗ר אָבִ֙יךָ֙ הִכְבִּ֣יד אֶת־עֻלֵּ֔נוּ וְאַתָּ֖ה הָקֵ֣ל מֵעָלֵ֑ינוּ כֹּ֚ה תֹּאמַ֣ר אֲלֵהֶ֔ם קָֽטָנִּ֥י עָבָ֖ה מִמָּתְנֵ֥י אָבִֽי׃
vaydabru ito hayladim asher gadlu ito lemor koh-tomar laam asher-dibru elecha lemor avicha hichbid et-ulenu veatah hakel mealenu koh tomar alehem katani avah mimatne avi
11Assim que, meu pai vos impôs carga de grave jugo, e eu acrescentarei a vosso jugo: meu pai vos castigou com açoites, e eu com escorpiões.
וְעַתָּ֗ה אָבִי֙ הֶעְמִ֤יס עֲלֵיכֶם֙ עֹ֣ל כָּבֵ֔ד וַאֲנִ֖י אֹסִ֣יף עַֽל־עֻלְּכֶ֑ם אָבִ֗י יִסַּ֤ר אֶתְכֶם֙ בַּשּׁוֹטִ֔ים וַאֲנִ֖י בָּֽעֲקְרַבִּֽים׃ ס
veatah avi hemis alechem ol kaved vaani osif al-ulchem avi yisar etchem bashotim vaani baakrabim
12Veio, pois, Jeroboão com todo o povo a Roboão ao terceiro dia: segundo o rei lhes havia mandado dizendo: Voltai a mim daqui a três dias.
וַיָּבֹ֨א יָרָבְעָ֧ם וְכָל־הָעָ֛ם אֶל־רְחַבְעָ֖ם בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁלִשִׁ֑י כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבֶּ֤ר הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר שׁ֥וּבוּ אֵלַ֖י בַּיּ֥וֹם הַשְּׁלִשִֽׁי׃
vayavo yaravam vechal-haam el-rechavam bayom hashlishi kaasher diber hamelech lemor shuvu elay bayom hashlishi
13E respondeu-lhes o rei asperamente; pois deixou o rei Roboão o conselho dos anciãos,
וַיַּעֲנֵ֥ם הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ קָשָׁ֑ה וַֽיַּעֲזֹב֙ הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ רְחַבְעָ֔ם אֵ֖ת עֲצַ֥ת הַזְּקֵנִֽים׃
vayaanem hamelech kashah vayaazov hamelech rechavam et atsat hazkenim
14E falou-lhes conforme ao conselho dos rapazes, dizendo: Meu pai agravou vosso jugo, e eu acrescentarei a vosso jugo: meu pai vos castigou com açoites, e eu com escorpiões.
וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר אֲלֵהֶ֗ם כַּעֲצַ֤ת הַיְלָדִים֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר אַכְבִּיד֙ אֶֽת־עֻלְּכֶ֔ם וַאֲנִ֖י אֹסִ֣יף עָלָ֑יו אָבִ֗י יִסַּ֤ר אֶתְכֶם֙ בַּשּׁוֹטִ֔ים וַאֲנִ֖י בָּעֲקְרַבִּֽים׃
vaydaber alehem kaatsat hayladim lemor achbid et-ulchem vaani osif alayv avi yisar etchem bashotim vaani baakrabim
15E não escutou o rei ao povo; porque a causa era de Deus, para cumprir o SENHOR sua palavra que havia falado, por Aías silonita, a Jeroboão filho de Nebate.
וְלֹֽא־שָׁמַ֥ע הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ אֶל־הָעָ֑ם כִּֽי־הָיְתָ֤ה נְסִבָּה֙ מֵעִ֣ם הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים לְמַעַן֩ הָקִ֨ים יְהוָ֜ה אֶת־דְּבָר֗וֹ אֲשֶׁ֤ר דִּבֶּר֙ בְּיַד֙ אֲחִיָּ֣הוּ הַשִּֽׁלוֹנִ֔י אֶל־יָרָבְעָ֖ם בֶּן־נְבָֽט׃
velo-shama hamelech el-haam ki-haytah nesibah meim haelohim lemaan hakim Yahweh et-devaro asher diber beyad achiyahu hashiloni el-yaravam ben-nevat
16E vendo todo Israel que o rei não lhes havia ouvido, respondeu o povo ao rei, dizendo: Que parte temos nós com Davi, nem herança no filho de Jessé? Israel, cada um a suas moradas! Davi, olha agora por tua casa! Assim se foi todo Israel a suas casas.
וְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל כִּ֠י לֹא־שָׁמַ֣ע הַמֶּלֶךְ֮ לָהֶם֒ וַיָּשִׁ֣יבוּ הָעָ֣ם אֶת־הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ ׀ לֵאמֹ֡ר מַה־לָּנוּ֩ חֵ֨לֶק בְּדָוִ֜יד וְלֹֽא־נַחֲלָ֣ה בְּבֶן־יִשַׁ֗י אִ֤ישׁ לְאֹהָלֶ֙יךָ֙ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל עַתָּ֕ה רְאֵ֥ה בֵיתְךָ֖ דָּוִ֑יד וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לְאֹהָלָֽיו׃ ס
vechal-yisrael ki lo-shama hamelech lahem vayashivu haam et-hamelech lemor mah-lanu chelek bedavid velo-nachalah beven-yishay ish leohalecha yisrael atah reeh vetcha david vayelech kal-yisrael leohalayv
17Mas reinou Roboão sobre os filhos de Israel que habitavam nas cidades de Judá.
וּבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל הַיֹּֽשְׁבִ֖ים בְּעָרֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֑ה וַיִּמְלֹ֥ךְ עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם רְחַבְעָֽם׃
uvne yisrael hayoshvim beare yehudah vayimloch alehem rechavam
18Enviou logo o rei Roboão a Adorão, que tinha cargo dos tributos; mas lhe apedrejaram os filhos de Israel, e morreu. Então se esforçou o rei Roboão, e subindo em um carro fugiu a Jerusalém.
וַיִּשְׁלַ֞ח הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ רְחַבְעָ֗ם אֶת־הֲדֹרָם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עַל־הַמַּ֔ס וַיִּרְגְּמוּ־ב֧וֹ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל אֶ֖בֶן וַיָּמֹ֑ת וְהַמֶּ֣לֶךְ רְחַבְעָ֗ם הִתְאַמֵּץ֙ לַֽעֲל֣וֹת בַּמֶּרְכָּבָ֔ה לָנ֖וּס יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ ס
vayishlach hamelech rechavam et-hadoram asher al-hamas vayirgmu-vo vene-yisrael even vayamot vehamelech rechavam hitamets laalot bamerkavah lanus yerushalim
19Assim se separou Israel da casa de Davi até hoje.
וַיִּפְשְׁע֤וּ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ בְּבֵ֣ית דָּוִ֔יד עַ֖ד הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃ ס
