1E aconteceu que em aqueles dias os filisteus juntaram seus acampamentos para lutar contra Israel. E disse Aquis a Davi: Sabe de certo que hás de sair comigo à campanha, tu e os teus.
וַֽיְהִי֙ בַּיָּמִ֣ים הָהֵ֔ם וַיִּקְבְּצ֨וּ פְלִשְׁתִּ֤ים אֶת־מַֽחֲנֵיהֶם֙ לַצָּבָ֔א לְהִלָּחֵ֖ם בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אָכִישׁ֙ אֶל־דָּוִ֔ד יָדֹ֣עַ תֵּדַ֗ע כִּ֤י אִתִּי֙ תֵּצֵ֣א בַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה אַתָּ֖ה וַאֲנָשֶֽׁיךָ׃

2E Davi respondeu a Aquis: Saberás, pois, o que fará teu servo. E Aquis disse a Davi: Portanto te farei guarda de minha cabeça todos os dias.
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר דָּוִד֙ אֶל־אָכִ֔ישׁ לָכֵן֙ אַתָּ֣ה תֵדַ֔ע אֵ֥ת אֲשֶׁר־יַעֲשֶׂ֖ה עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אָכִישׁ֙ אֶל־דָּוִ֔ד לָכֵ֗ן שֹׁמֵ֧ר לְרֹאשִׁ֛י אֲשִֽׂימְךָ֖ כָּל־הַיָּמִֽים׃ פ

3Já Samuel era morto, e todo Israel o havia lamentado, e haviam-lhe sepultado em Ramá, em sua cidade. E Saul havia lançado da terra os encantadores e adivinhos.
וּשְׁמוּאֵ֣ל מֵ֔ת וַיִּסְפְּדוּ־לוֹ֙ כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַיִּקְבְּרֻ֥הוּ בָרָמָ֖ה וּבְעִיר֑וֹ וְשָׁא֗וּל הֵסִ֛יר הָאֹב֥וֹת וְאֶת־הַיִּדְּעֹנִ֖ים מֵהָאָֽרֶץ׃
ushmuel met vayispdu-lo kal-yisrael vayikbruhu varamah uviro veshaul hesir haovot veet-hayidonim mehaarets
4Pois como os filisteus se juntaram, vieram e assentaram acampamento em Suném: e Saul juntou a todo Israel, e assentaram acampamento em Gilboa.
וַיִּקָּבְצ֣וּ פְלִשְׁתִּ֔ים וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ וַיַּחֲנ֣וּ בְשׁוּנֵ֑ם וַיִּקְבֹּ֤ץ שָׁאוּל֙ אֶת־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ בַּגִּלְבֹּֽעַ׃
vayikavtsu felishtim vayavou vayachanu veshunem vayikbots shaul et-kal-yisrael vayachanu bagilboa
5E quando viu Saul o acampamento dos filisteus, temeu, e perturbou-se seu coração em grande maneira.
וַיַּ֥רְא שָׁא֖וּל אֶת־מַחֲנֵ֣ה פְלִשְׁתִּ֑ים וַיִּרָ֕א וַיֶּחֱרַ֥ד לִבּ֖וֹ מְאֹֽד׃
vayar shaul et-machaneh felishtim vayira vayecherad libo meod
6E consultou Saul ao SENHOR; mas o SENHOR não lhe respondeu, nem por sonhos, nem por Urim, nem por profetas.
וַיִּשְׁאַ֤ל שָׁאוּל֙ בַּֽיהוָ֔ה וְלֹ֥א עָנָ֖הוּ יְהוָ֑ה גַּ֧ם בַּחֲלֹמ֛וֹת גַּ֥ם בָּאוּרִ֖ים גַּ֥ם בַּנְּבִיאִֽם׃
vayishal shaul bayhvah velo anahu Yahweh gam bachalomot gam baurim gam banviim
7Então Saul disse a seus criados: Buscai-me uma mulher que tenha espírito de necromante, para que eu vá a ela, e por meio dela pergunte. E seus criados lhe responderam: Eis que há uma mulher em En-Dor que tem espírito de necromante.
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר שָׁא֜וּל לַעֲבָדָ֗יו בַּקְּשׁוּ־לִי֙ אֵ֣שֶׁת בַּעֲלַת־א֔וֹב וְאֵלְכָ֥ה אֵלֶ֖יהָ וְאֶדְרְשָׁה־בָּ֑הּ וַיֹּאמְר֤וּ עֲבָדָיו֙ אֵלָ֔יו הִנֵּ֛ה אֵ֥שֶׁת בַּֽעֲלַת־א֖וֹב בְּעֵ֥ין דּֽוֹר׃

8E Saul se disfarçou, vestiu outras roupas, e foi-se com dois homens, e vieram àquela mulher de noite; e ele disse: Eu te rogo que me adivinhes pelo espírito de pitonisa, e me faças subir a quem eu te disser.
וַיִּתְחַפֵּ֣שׂ שָׁא֗וּל וַיִּלְבַּשׁ֙ בְּגָדִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֔ים וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ ה֗וּא וּשְׁנֵ֤י אֲנָשִׁים֙ עִמּ֔וֹ וַיָּבֹ֥אוּ אֶל־הָאִשָּׁ֖ה לָ֑יְלָה וַיֹּ֗אמֶר קסומי ־נָ֥א לִי֙ בָּא֔וֹב וְהַ֣עֲלִי לִ֔י אֵ֥ת אֲשֶׁר־אֹמַ֖ר אֵלָֽיִךְ׃
vayitchapes shaul vayilbash begadim acherim vayelech hu ushne anashim imo vayavou el-haishah laylah vayomer ksvmy -na li baov vehaali li et asher-omar elayich
9E a mulher lhe disse: Eis que tu sabes o que Saul fez, como exterminou da terra os necromantes e os adivinhos; por que, pois, pões tropeço à minha vida, para me fazer morrer?
וַתֹּ֨אמֶר הָֽאִשָּׁ֜ה אֵלָ֗יו הִנֵּ֨ה אַתָּ֤ה יָדַ֙עְתָּ֙ אֵ֣ת אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂ֣ה שָׁא֔וּל אֲשֶׁ֥ר הִכְרִ֛ית אֶת־הָאֹב֥וֹת וְאֶת־הַיִּדְּעֹנִ֖י מִן־הָאָ֑רֶץ וְלָמָ֥ה אַתָּ֛ה מִתְנַקֵּ֥שׁ בְּנַפְשִׁ֖י לַהֲמִיתֵֽנִי׃
vatomer haishah elayv hineh atah yadata et asher-asah shaul asher hichrit et-haovot veet-hayidoni min-haarets velamah atah mitnakesh benafshi lahamiteni
10Então Saul jurou a ela pelo SENHOR, dizendo: Vive o SENHOR, que nenhum mal te virá por isto.
וַיִּשָּׁ֤בַֽע לָהּ֙ שָׁא֔וּל בַּֽיהוָ֖ה לֵאמֹ֑ר חַי־יְהוָ֕ה אִֽם־יִקְּרֵ֥ךְ עָוֺ֖ן בַּדָּבָ֥ר הַזֶּֽה׃
vayishava lah shaul bayhvah lemor chay-Yahweh im-yikrech aon badavar hazeh
11A mulher então disse: A quem te farei vir? E ele respondeu: Faze-me vir a Samuel.
וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ הָֽאִשָּׁ֔ה אֶת־מִ֖י אַֽעֲלֶה־לָּ֑ךְ וַיֹּ֕אמֶר אֶת־שְׁמוּאֵ֖ל הַֽעֲלִי־לִֽי׃
vatomer haishah et-mi aaleh-lach vayomer et-shemuel haali-li
12E vendo a mulher a Samuel, clamou em alta voz, e falou aquela mulher a Saul, dizendo:
וַתֵּ֤רֶא הָֽאִשָּׁה֙ אֶת־שְׁמוּאֵ֔ל וַתִּזְעַ֖ק בְּק֣וֹל גָּד֑וֹל וַתֹּאמֶר֩ הָאִשָּׁ֨ה אֶל־שָׁא֧וּל לֵאמֹ֛ר לָ֥מָּה רִמִּיתָ֖נִי וְאַתָּ֥ה שָׁאֽוּל׃
vatere haishah et-shemuel vatizak bekol gadol vatomer haishah el-shaul lemor lamah rimitani veatah shaul
13Por que me enganaste? que tu és Saul. E o rei lhe disse: Não temas: que viste? E a mulher respondeu a Saul: Vi deuses que sobem da terra.
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר לָ֥הּ הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ אַל־תִּֽירְאִ֖י כִּ֣י מָ֣ה רָאִ֑ית וַתֹּ֤אמֶר הָֽאִשָּׁה֙ אֶל־שָׁא֔וּל אֱלֹהִ֥ים רָאִ֖יתִי עֹלִ֥ים מִן־הָאָֽרֶץ׃
vayomer lah hamelech al-tiri ki mah rait vatomer haishah el-shaul elohim raiti olim min-haarets
14E ele lhe disse: Qual é sua forma? E ela respondeu: Um homem ancião vem, coberto de um manto. Saul então entendeu que era Samuel, e humilhando o rosto à terra, fez grande reverência.
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לָהּ֙ מַֽה־תָּאֳר֔וֹ וַתֹּ֗אמֶר אִ֤ישׁ זָקֵן֙ עֹלֶ֔ה וְה֥וּא עֹטֶ֖ה מְעִ֑יל וַיֵּ֤דַע שָׁאוּל֙ כִּֽי־שְׁמוּאֵ֣ל ה֔וּא וַיִּקֹּ֥ד אַפַּ֛יִם אַ֖רְצָה וַיִּשְׁתָּֽחוּ׃ ס
vayomer lah mah-taoro vatomer ish zaken oleh vehu oteh meil vayeda shaul ki-shemuel hu vayikod apayim artsah vayishtachu
15E Samuel disse a Saul: Por que me inquietaste fazendo-me vir? E Saul respondeu: Estou muito angustiado; pois os filisteus lutam contra mim, e Deus se afastou de mim, e não me responde mais, nem por meio de profetas, nem por sonhos: por isto te chamei, para que me declares o que tenho de fazer.
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר שְׁמוּאֵל֙ אֶל־שָׁא֔וּל לָ֥מָּה הִרְגַּזְתַּ֖נִי לְהַעֲל֣וֹת אֹתִ֑י וַיֹּ֣אמֶר שָׁ֠אוּל צַר־לִ֨י מְאֹ֜ד וּפְלִשְׁתִּ֣ים ׀ נִלְחָמִ֣ים בִּ֗י וֵֽאלֹהִ֞ים סָ֤ר מֵֽעָלַי֙ וְלֹֽא־עָנָ֣נִי ע֗וֹד גַּ֤ם בְּיַֽד־הַנְּבִיאִם֙ גַּם־בַּ֣חֲלֹמ֔וֹת וָאֶקְרָאֶ֣ה לְךָ֔ לְהוֹדִיעֵ֖נִי מָ֥ה אֶעֱשֶֽׂה׃ ס
vayomer shemuel el-shaul lamah hirgaztani lehaalot oti vayomer shaul tsar-li meod uflishtim nilchamim bi velohim sar mealay velo-anani od gam beyad-hanviim gam-bachalomot vaekraeh lecha lehodieni mah eeseh
16Então Samuel disse: E para que perguntas a mim, havendo-se afastado de ti o SENHOR, e é teu inimigo?
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר שְׁמוּאֵ֔ל וְלָ֖מָּה תִּשְׁאָלֵ֑נִי וַיהוָ֛ה סָ֥ר מֵעָלֶ֖יךָ וַיְהִ֥י עָרֶֽךָ׃
vayomer shemuel velamah tishaleni vayhvah sar mealecha vayhi arecha
17o SENHOR pois fez como falou por meio de mim; pois cortou o SENHOR o reino de tua mão, e o deu a tua companheiro Davi.
וַיַּ֤עַשׂ יְהוָה֙ ל֔וֹ כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר דִּבֶּ֣ר בְּיָדִ֑י וַיִּקְרַ֨ע יְהוָ֤ה אֶת־הַמַּמְלָכָה֙ מִיָּדֶ֔ךָ וַֽיִּתְּנָ֖הּ לְרֵעֲךָ֥ לְדָוִֽד׃
vayaas Yahweh lo kaasher diber beyadi vayikra Yahweh et-hamamlachah miyadecha vayitnah lereacha ledavid
18Como tu não obedeceste à voz do SENHOR, nem cumpriste o furor de sua ira sobre Amaleque, por isso o SENHOR te fez isto hoje.
כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹֽא־שָׁמַ֙עְתָּ֙ בְּק֣וֹל יְהוָ֔ה וְלֹֽא־עָשִׂ֥יתָ חֲרוֹן־אַפּ֖וֹ בַּעֲמָלֵ֑ק עַל־כֵּן֙ הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֔ה עָשָֽׂה־לְךָ֥ יְהוָ֖ה הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃
kaasher lo-shamata bekol Yahweh velo-asita charon-apo baamalek al-ken hadavar hazeh asah-lecha Yahweh hayom hazeh
19E o SENHOR entregará a Israel também contigo nas mãos dos filisteus: e amanhã estareis comigo, tu e teus filhos; e ainda o acampamento de Israel o SENHOR entregará nas mãos dos filisteus.
וְיִתֵּ֣ן יְ֠הוָה גַּ֣ם אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל עִמְּךָ֙ בְּיַד־פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים וּמָחָ֕ר אַתָּ֥ה וּבָנֶ֖יךָ עִמִּ֑י גַּ֚ם אֶת־מַחֲנֵ֣ה יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל יִתֵּ֥ן יְהוָ֖ה בְּיַד־פְּלִשְׁתִּֽים ׃
veyiten Yahweh gam et-yisrael imcha beyad-pelishtim umachar atah uvanecha imi gam et-machaneh yisrael yiten Yahweh beyad-pelishtim
20Naquele mesmo momento Saul caiu estendido ao chão, e teve grande temor pelas palavras de Samuel; que não restou nele esforço nenhum, porque em todo aquele dia e aquela noite não havia comido pão.
וַיְמַהֵ֣ר שָׁא֗וּל וַיִּפֹּ֤ל מְלֹא־קֽוֹמָתוֹ֙ אַ֔רְצָה וַיִּרָ֥א מְאֹ֖ד מִדִּבְרֵ֣י שְׁמוּאֵ֑ל גַּם־כֹּ֙חַ֙ לֹא־הָ֣יָה ב֔וֹ כִּ֣י לֹ֤א אָכַל֙ לֶ֔חֶם כָּל־הַיּ֖וֹם וְכָל־הַלָּֽיְלָה׃
vaymaher shaul vayipol melo-komato artsah vayira meod midivre shemuel gam-kocha lo-hayah vo ki lo achal lechem kal-hayom vechal-halaylah
21Então a mulher veio a Saul, e vendo-lhe em grande maneira perturbado, disse-lhe: Eis que tua criada obedeceu à tua voz, e pus minha vida em minha mão, e ouvi as palavras que tu me disseste.
וַתָּב֤וֹא הָֽאִשָּׁה֙ אֶל־שָׁא֔וּל וַתֵּ֖רֶא כִּי־נִבְהַ֣ל מְאֹ֑ד וַתֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלָ֗יו הִנֵּ֨ה שָׁמְעָ֤ה שִׁפְחָֽתְךָ֙ בְּקוֹלֶ֔ךָ וָאָשִׂ֤ים נַפְשִׁי֙ בְּכַפִּ֔י וָֽאֶשְׁמַע֙ אֶת־דְּבָרֶ֔יךָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבַּ֖רְתָּ אֵלָֽי׃
vatavo haishah el-shaul vatere ki-nivhal meod vatomer elayv hineh shamah shifchatcha bekolecha vaasim nafshi bechapi vaeshma et-devarecha asher dibarta elay
22Rogo-te, pois, que tu também ouças a voz de tua serva: porei eu diante de ti um bocado de pão que comas, para que te fortaleças, e vás teu caminho.
וְעַתָּ֗ה שְׁמַֽע־נָ֤א גַם־אַתָּה֙ בְּק֣וֹל שִׁפְחָתֶ֔ךָ וְאָשִׂ֧מָה לְפָנֶ֛יךָ פַּת־לֶ֖חֶם וֶאֱכ֑וֹל וִיהִ֤י בְךָ֙ כֹּ֔חַ כִּ֥י תֵלֵ֖ךְ בַּדָּֽרֶךְ׃
veatah shema-na gam-atah bekol shifchatecha veasimah lefanecha pat-lechem veechol vihi vecha kocha ki telech badarech
23E ele o recusou, dizendo: Não comerei. Mas seus criados juntamente com a mulher lhe obrigaram, e ele os obedeceu. Levantou-se, pois, do chão, e sentou-se sobre uma cama.
וַיְמָאֵ֗ן וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ לֹ֣א אֹכַ֔ל וַיִּפְרְצוּ־ב֤וֹ עֲבָדָיו֙ וְגַם־הָ֣אִשָּׁ֔ה וַיִּשְׁמַ֖ע לְקֹלָ֑ם וַיָּ֙קָם֙ מֵֽהָאָ֔רֶץ וַיֵּ֖שֶׁב אֶל־הַמִּטָּֽה׃
vaymaen vayomer lo ochal vayifrtsu-vo avadayv vegam-haishah vayishma lekolam vayakam mehaarets vayeshev el-hamitah
24E aquela mulher tinha em sua casa um bezerro gordo, o qual matou logo; e tomou farinha e amassou-a, e cozeu dela pães sem levedura.
וְלָאִשָּׁ֤ה עֵֽגֶל־מַרְבֵּק֙ בַּבַּ֔יִת וַתְּמַהֵ֖ר וַתִּזְבָּחֵ֑הוּ וַתִּקַּח־קֶ֣מַח וַתָּ֔לָשׁ וַתֹּפֵ֖הוּ מַצּֽוֹת׃
velaishah egel-marbek babayit vatmaher vatizbachehu vatikach-kemach vatalash vatofehu matsot
25E o trouxe diante de Saul e de seus criados; e assim que comeram, se levantaram, e partiram aquela noite.
וַתַּגֵּ֧שׁ לִפְנֵֽי־שָׁא֛וּל וְלִפְנֵ֥י עֲבָדָ֖יו וַיֹּאכֵ֑לוּ וַיָּקֻ֥מוּ וַיֵּלְכ֖וּ בַּלַּ֥יְלָה הַהֽוּא׃ פ
vatagesh lifne-shaul velifne avadayv vayochelu vayakumu vayelchu balaylah hahu
