1 Corinthians 13

Bíblia Livre (BLIVRE) + Textus Receptus (TR)

Hide the originalView word by word

Below each verse in the original comes an approximate reading, in italics, for anyone who wants to pronounce the text aloud. It is not academic transliteration: it does not mark stress or settle the cases that depend on grammatical analysis, and the four-letter Name is read “Yahweh”, by the founder’s decision — the Hebrew pointing instructs saying “Adonai”, and Portuguese Bibles render it “SENHOR”.

4O amor é paciente, é bondoso; o amor não é invejoso; o amor não é orgulhoso, não é arrogante.

uk aschemonei u dzetei ta heautes u paroxunetai u logidzetai to kakon

7Tudo aguenta, tudo crê, tudo espera, tudo suporta.

8O amor nunca falha. Porém as profecias serão aniquiladas; as línguas acabarão, e o conhecimento será aniquilado.

9Porque em parte conhecemos, e em parte profetizamos;

13E agora continuam a fé, a esperança, [e] o amor, estes três; porém o maior destes é o amor.
