1 Chronicles 13

Bíblia Livre (BLIVRE) + Westminster Leningrad Codex (WLC)

Hide the originalView word by word

Below each verse in the original comes an approximate reading, in italics, for anyone who wants to pronounce the text aloud. It is not academic transliteration: it does not mark stress or settle the cases that depend on grammatical analysis, and the four-letter Name is read “Yahweh”, by the founder’s decision — the Hebrew pointing instructs saying “Adonai”, and Portuguese Bibles render it “SENHOR”.

vayiuaats david im-sare haalafim vehameot lechal-nagid

vayavou ad-goren kidon vayishlach uza et-yado leechoz et-haaron ki shamtu habakar

vayichar-af Yahweh beuza vayakehu al asher-shalach yado al-haaron vayamat sham lifne elohim

vayichar ledavid ki-farats Yahweh perets beuza vayikra lamakom hahu perets uza ad hayom hazeh

12E Davi temeu a Deus naquele dia, dizendo: Como trarei a mim a arca de Deus?

vayira david et-haelohim bayom hahu lemor hech avi elay et aron haelohim
